Now he's not fighting Maidana he'll move down to 140 and they'll put him in against somebody he can beat on the undercard. Peterson and Judah sound like good guesses. Maybe Judah.

Broner fighting Judah wouldn't suprise me at all, its definately winnable for Broner and Judah's a known name (although I think he should of retired a while ago)

Doesn't look great for Broner though. You've got Floyd fighting the guy who just battered you and you're on the undercard fighting a guy Floyd beat a decade ago.

agreed. agreed. Im telling you broner is finshed. Only Ali can take unishment to the body like that andcome back and make a career out of it. This guy took 5 years of body shots in 1 fight. Also what a sack of shit with that Vaudeville act.

Ideally he'll just slowly degrade and lose the next four or five fights till he doesn't even get on TV undercards, and after every loss we get just you wait, I'll be back and I'll take over boxing bombastic bollocks etc etc. That way we get maximum entertainment out of him.

    Broner will be back stronger.
The money he will be making will make him a much better fighter.
He should really fight at 140.

I think Maidana took a page out of the Rocky Marciano strategy, he knew the Broner had fast reflexes so he hit Broner everywhere and fast just to get inside and inflict more pain. We all know what happened in the ring but I am speaking about what everyone else touched upon. His lack of maturity which caused him to become mediocre. Here is the real reason that his next two fights better be therapeutic, he has to discard his ego because Maidana knocked that into the fourteenth row. It's one thing to lose but another to be shattered but then he was embarrassed. He did not bring any power with him from 140 and I'll bet he thought he knew more than his trainers or he was showing off for his entourage. Yes, profiling for your friends is a bitch when you have someone like Maidana in front of you and with his ego unchecked he underestimated his conqueror. Next!
