It wasn't a fluke. There both just not that good any more.

He bull-rushed Abraham when Abraham wasn't expecting it, but tonight that is literally all he did! No jab, no nothing just terribly poor boxing

I always liked King Arthur. I thought Stieglitz should've been DQ"d or at least heavily penalized.

Arthur Abraham won back the WBO super middleweight after claiming a split decision victory over Robert Stieglitz in Magdeburg.

The German lost the title by TKO to his compatriot in March 2013, but he exacted revenge in their third bout to regain the title as two judges scored it 114-111 and 115-110 in his favour with the third awarding it 113-112 to Stieglitz.

Although the defending champion pushed forward early on with plenty of jabs, Abraham played it safe and started counterattacking. He had Stieglitz on his knee in the final round, but couldn't deliver the knockout blow.

"That was a real battle," Abraham, who took his record to 39-4 with 28 KOs, said.

"Respect to Stieglitz, respect to my coach. We really saw a good fight. Of course I see myself as the winner. I won through my hard punches."

I used to watch abraham all the time back when he was at middleweight, he's not that bad really, he doesnt have the same great power at middleweight and his arms are pretty short and he has always had his weird lazy style where he just guards loads of punches and then lands a few big counter punches :S he's great to watch for 30 seconds of a round.. 2nd fight v stieglitz his eye closed up he wasnt in any trouble of being ko'd and was just doing what he always does , couldnt fight with a closed eye though.. Not surprised he beat steiglitz in a close fight.. Abraham isnt that good especially at smw but he is not crap either.

Steglitz had a bad gameplan but Abraham deserves credit for performing a lot better than we all thought he was capable of

Based on the evidence of his last few fights we expected him to be slow, plodding, up unexplosive and generally jaded. However we got much of the opposite. His footwork was better than we've ever seen. His counter punching was crisp and his tactics were as good as they have ever been.

Well done King Arthur. Oh yeah and the ref was terrible. If he dd his job Arthur might have finished him in the 12th
