    Another level?

Look at how many world champions Kessler had faced and beaten. He unified titles.

    Who has Golovkin beaten?

Another level alright. A level below.
Kesseler is old and past it. He looked shit against an old Froch. His list of wins is not so impressive listed below for the last 7 years. THere is a reason he contemplated retirement for so long and is only looking for another payday.

Brian Magee - past it and average
Green - KOd by GGG in amateurs, nothing speical
    Bouadla - nothing special
Froch - probably his best win and I dont rate Froch
    Perdomo - who?
    Haussler - who?
    Sartison - who?

GGG is younger and freshed. Has no wear and tear from hard battles and is likely the harder hitter.

Id like to see the fight but GGG will get no credit if he beats him. He just beat an old shot fighter is what will be said.
Only Finito would say that but most posters would say it would be a great victory.

I guess we'll have to wait and see Master. Haters are gonna hate. Will be the same if he beats Sergio. Everyone will say he was past it

Brian Magee is a bigger name than anyone Golovkin has faced and thats when you realise how crap his opposition has been.

I'm a big fan of Kessler, but I have to admit Silkeyjoe is pretty spot on in everything he said.
I think Kessler is better judged on the fact that he gave the 2 best fighters in the SMW division in the last 10 years the hardest fights of their careers, but it certainly seems a long time ago. If the fight goes ahead , I hope Kessler wins, but I fear the worst . It was bad enough watching him lose to an inferior fighter in Froch.

    Hold on.

Kessler kills himself in training and leaves nothing left for the fight but still makes it very very close. Kessler also holds a convincing win over Froch.

Groves gets stopped in the first attempt and Groves is the new star of the division whereas Kessler is finished?

I'll be honest, my eyes lit up when I saw Kesslers name cause I thought "yeah, he could do it". Just a feeling.

Plus, I don't like the idea of GGG moving up.

Moving up in weight should only be an option when you have cleaned a division out.

Golovkin wants to test the waters to try and get some big money fights.

Kessler is nt the kind of fighter you move up against to test how you feel at the weight.

Not when you havent beaten anyone better than Brian Magee.

    This is rich!

Kesslers last 9 opponents only had a combined 17 losses and included 3 undefeated fighters.

    This is the funny bit...

Golovkins last 9 "opponents" had a combined 40 losses and not one undefeated fighter!!

If Kesslers list of fights is not impressive what does that make Golovkins?

Ross' usual pathetic arguments about number I losses blah blah blah. Macklin and Stevens at middle are as good as any of Kesslers recent wins.

Wlads lost a couple of times so I guess all the unbeaten heavyweights are far better then him and having one of them on ur rec is much better then beating Wlad.

Ross a clown with biased views and can't judge fighters rationally at all.

You have to admit this will be a very good fight and would tell us a lot about both fighters.

Kessler will have eyes on the winner of Froch v Groves

Kessler was a beast when he was younger then he ran in Calzaghe and lost it pretty convincingly was even hurt by Cazlzaghe. Then lost to Ward few years later and is even with Froch GGG has not even really fought a champ yet so he might have his train stopped by Kessler or Froch.
