    Default Danny Garcia

Anybody hear what's next for him. I know he said one more fight at 140 and then it's up to 147. As I said I'm a fan but I found the Herrera fight a bit of a travesty. No way that fight was 8-4. Danny got a gift in Puerto Rico. The best he could have done was a gift. After the fight he said he felt he won convincingly but did say a long layoff and making 140 effected his performance. I would have liked to have seen a rematch. I think champs who get away with a decision of that sort should rematch to clear the air in their impressive careers. I haven't heard it from Garcia but I could have missed it as I haven't heard everything. I think the Herrera fight was a bad night for Danny, he couldn't get his stance or timing right plus Herrera did an excellent job.

I have heard some here say he is not the real deal but I think he is. Damn what a chin that kid has. He definitely needs to step up for 147 but I think he'll do well in a tough decision.

To be honest, I think he needs to shed his dad outta that corner. Reminds me so much of how Zab Judhas loudmouth pops mishandled his corner and I think held Zab back during his career, especially early on.

Agree totally. I remember always thinking that zab needed a trainer to push him. I think that Garcia is a bit more level headed but think he would do better without his dad in his corner

I think Angel Garcia is okay. I certainly think he is more switched on than is immediately apparent. Plus I get the impression all the loudness and ego and everything he does, is purely for his Son. Not for him.

Look at how Danny reacted immediately after the decision was read out against Matthyese and how cool his Dad was about it. His Dad knows how good Danny is. I do to.

Needs to use a bit more physicality about his game though. Will have problems with spoilers for ever if he doesn't adjust.

He had a tough fight against a tough veteran fighter...Herrera is no chump and his style isn't going to be easy for anyone (plus his first time fighting in Puerto Rico) . So i wouldn't read too much into that performance. Not a fan of his dad's loud mouth antics...but he has done an excellent job with Garcia up to this point. I personally would love to see Garcia vs. Broner.

Danny is doing well and if he can stay at the weight he should just unify all the belts. Whilst his dad is a complete cock, he takes pressure off his son so they make a good team. If it is not broke ......

    I hate him.

I want him to be KOd so hard that his career is over.

So it's all about how you see people and where you're from. I hate all that loud mouth, cocky, arrogant shit. I've seen far too many real tough people and almost none of the actually act that way.

It annoys me, therefore I want him destroyed.

Forget the 140 fight. Khan is right there. That should be an easy fight to make and the winner hit the lotto.

He can redeem himself by fighting Peterson..

And btw, angel garcia is fine as his trainer for now..

This is what's wrong about today's fighters.. soon as they lose a fight or look bad, they wanna blame their trainers and jump ship fuckin ungrateful bastards.

Believe it or not, the trainer is just another small part of the team.. its really all up to the fighter whether or not he listens and if he is good enough to execute..

I dont think ive ever heard Angel giving a horrible advice in the corner. If anything, he's pretty good..

    Garcia needs peterson.

Rematch Herrera in a 140 farewell fight, or just give him the belt he won and he'll fight that bloated ooopsy child Broner.

He also gave great advice in not giving Kham an immediate rematch.

Yh, if he fought the Khan that fought Collazo he'd have a loss.

It's clear that khan is a much better boxer, just lacked that chin, but the "not getting involved" Khan would be better against Garcia, I mean Khan was making Garcia look stupid until he got hit clean.
