FNF & Showbox cards tonight!

FNF kicks off at 8pm, one hour. Looks like the return of two guys coming off brutal kos tonight. Delvin Rodriquez 28-7-3 (16) tries to get back on track after playing foil to Cotto as he meets war horse Joachim Alcine 32-7-1 (21) jr middles in main event. Both start slow and are in dire need of a win..hoping for fireworks!

Heavyweight Joe Hanks 21-1 (14) is back after being spanked bad by Andy Ruiz last year and fights everybody's favorite version of boring warm milk in heavyweight in Derrick Rossy 28-8 (14)

Showbox is set to start at 9pm and will overlap FNF by 1 hour but whats a little multi tasking

Main event is Joel Diaz jr 15-0 (12) who is a on a serious fast track. He'll meet Tyler Asselstine 14-1 (7) Spr featherweights.

Espn 2 is doing the Rodriguez fight here. Unfortunately it looks like it is being late until female softball game ends.

Shoebox cards seem pretty good as well. I'd like to see Rodriguez but I may just focus on shobox. I think either one will be interesting

Do you get the Spanish version of ESPN bud? I pay 5 bucks a month for a channel tier that has it, Unimas, Gala and Univision. Aside from boxing its only good for Spanish soap operas and news casts with scantly clad women

Becoming a big fan of Diaz jr...kids a whirlwind! Have Rossy ahead here about 2-1. Hanks just has ni diversity or adjustment so far. He is really trying to lay on the power start of 4th

Hank's cut under left eye, corner telling him to wake up and start punching going into 6th. Rossy beats him to the punch everytime, starting with jab that bothers the Hell outta Hanks who constantly shakes his head and visibly reacts. He is in more way than one looking like a early version of Shannon Briggs being badly outboxed. 4-1 Rossy

Decent 7th for Hanks, gets some body shots in and Rossy lays off the jab. Hanks pounding his chest, talking to Rossy "come on come on" and muscling up. Briggs has a brother...I'm convinced of it now He takes a right hand the same way...its a trip 5-2 Rossy

6-2 Rossy into ninth. Somehow I can see these cards the total opposite...Hanks is a very theatrical fighter, a lot of smoke but not a lot of impactful fire. He's having a good 9th and really cracks rossy on ropes at end. Rossy is feeling the body shots at bell but lands his own clean rights...6-3 Rossy

Hanks is "selling" his show to start 10th. Flexing, talking, waving him in and all the while stomping forward. Rossy still landing, simple boxing. A very style vs substance example here to me. Rossy took that 10th...should be interesting decision coming Have 7-3 here
