Super champ is such bull shit. So someone can become champ while avoiding Golovkin. Same thing done to allow people to avoid Rigo

This is a good fight. Not great, but good. I'm looking forward to it.

Hard to see Geale not ending up a punching bag though down the stretch.

Good fight. I want to see GGG/Ward but I understand not taking that route. Geale is a good fighter, hopefully he brings out the best in Gennedy.

Its a trip. It looks like it was Golovkin camp who looked for options away from the newly named "mandatory" Jarrod Fletcher. I think they were thinking what a network would air and HBO would once again leave Fletcher v Golovkin in the basement to be unseen. Enter Geale.

Looks like Fletcher...who I still have no fooking idea who he is...is being matched with Danny Jacobs for the "regular" wba trinket?! Sure to ride the undercard if a cynical guy thinks about it.

    Golovkin v Jacobs anyone

Flecther was KOd in a few by Billy Joe Saunders. GGG stops him in 1. Pointless fight. Jacob v GGG is a good fight.

Jacob as a good opponent might be a bit of a stretch, more like passable. Middleweight is relatively bad right now there's no reason any champ should be fighting guys outside the top 10.

Geale is in the top 5 in all 4 organisations rankings, Jacob is top 5 in all 4 also, Fletcher is 2nd in WBA and top 15 in the rest. I think all 3 are legit, but Fletcher by far would be too easy for GGG.
