    Fight of the day. There were a few to choose from today but I went with some rare footage of Ray at 147. This fight is also Rays last fight at 147. Paul Cavalier was the ref and lone judge in the fight. Imo opinion Ray carried Charley cause he liked him.

    Way better then the Robinson fight action wise but the footage of Ray at 147 is so rare that I had to post it.

    Moore offered the rematch to Durelle right after their first fight while Moore was doing the post-fight interview himself. He told Durelle "you know nobody hit me that hard, your performance is something to be proud"

    But Durelle later explained that Moo're team pushed the date of the fight till they were sure Durelle (a simple man, a fisherman) over worked himself in camp and started to miss his family... Durelle was never in it the night of the rematch.

    Durelle was all power and heart. A simple man, living a simple life, but possessing brute talent that made him a freak of nature. Even at a late age, a few years before his death, he would still declare "My head just won't give up, I still can do it"
