    Default I Wish I Had A Goat

I hate mowing lawns, so I have a tiny yard. Still, I would rather get bit by a dog, get gangrene, then lose a leg than mow it. I never water my lawn because then it would grow, and I don't want it to grow. When I lived in on the west end of Phoenix and had 1/2 acre, I would let the neighbors graze their animals- so long as they were edible- in my yard. Unfortunately, one of my girl's kids would beat up a neighbor's kid and I'd get screwed out of some roasted goat.
The last time I mowed my yard was a week ago and I was hoping to get by another few days. Unfortunately, it has rained four days in a row; it is raining now. In general, I enjoy a good thunderstorm, but not when it creates work for me. I can hear the thunder rolling outside and I know it only means more rain.

A sheep maybe better, sort of like a ride on.

About 15 dollars to poison the lot with roundup some Italians around here do it if they cant afford concrete.
I went down to the skip outside the local carpet shop and got a weeks worth of old nylon carpet and carpeted over my whole front lawn once, cause it was full of onion grass that comes up from about a foot down, then i went to the tip who sell trailer loads of mulch for cheap cause they always shred trees and sell the left overs and covered the whole lot. It lasted for years over 15! its still there I drive past sometimes. We sold the joint, one little tree had died but looked sort of good so I sprayed it a green color with an old can of paint instead of throwing it out before we moved (thats gone).

Andre, that is all work. I am trying to avoid work. I think I am about two steps from robbing banks to pay to have my lawn mowed.

When I moved here, my girl had a 12 year old kid and I figured my mowing days were done. "Mow or starve", you know? Round-up seems like a good call. If my dog ever went outside, that might bother her. Since she is the canine equivalent of an indoor cat, it will probably be ok.

I often wonder if Jesus is actually responsible for infanticide or merely accidental animal roadkill. When we were kids we used to sing to the tune of Jesus Christ Superstar

I actually forget the words to this and so Google them on Google and the search threw up this in an interesting vortex like self reflecting Star Trek thingy ma jig

I hate mowing the lawn so tricked by son to do it because I said it would increase his strength and muscles.

My hatred of mowing the lawn stems from childhood as my ol man would make us use a push blade cutter..the kind from the 1920's...on crab grass ffs. We had to edge with a shovel and sheers. No weed whackers. Foot by foot down the sidewalk...no more than a 1' gap. It got so bad neighbors thought I was hired help and had a business, not living there haha! I had The Great Santini of lawn care in charge

Anyway, make it into a massive rock garden? Or go to Home Depot and hire a couple of fellas in the parking lot? Riding mower, ice chest on the back

I cut the grass, and then it rained another two inches. And then the grass grew real fast so I think that it is now longer than it was before I cut it. Last night I saw a tv ad for this grass that only grows a little bit. They say it only needs to be mowed twice a year.

Same here we had three cold fronts in low pressure systems move through us in 4 days last one just went through just then, fast moving systems rain for hours then sunny patches with gale force winds, trees down boats up on beaches and grass growing.
Which dick came up with " a change is as good as a holiday?"
