    Default Rigo vs. Santa Cruz

Now is the time to make the fight. Rigo is not with Top Rank anymore. Santa Cruz needs a big fight and there are no other great opponents at 122 for Santa Cruz. Kiko Martinez is facing Carl Frampton in a rematch and then scheduled to face Quigg. It's also a great styles-clash between a boxer and a volume-punching swarmer.

This would be a great fight which would make the winner's resume look so much more splendid.

Rigo will win against Cruz, I like Cruz but he's no were near as good as Donaire, and Rigo boxed
his ears off, so I can only see one out come the winner Rigo.

This would be a great fight. Similar to Mayweather vs. Castillo.

I agree Rigo would be the favorite but styles make fights.

Cruz is a volume puncher. Rigondeaux has to be dared at times to punch. So Cruz should take some rounds on activity alone. But not enough to win the fight. Rigondeaux 8 rounds to 4

Dared to punch is a bit silly. He doesnt waste punches. He waits for opportunities and strikes. Id expect Rigo to stop LSC. If not he wil lose one or 2 rounds at most.

Rigo v Quigg/Frampton would be very good.

I like Santa Cruz, but he better bring his track shoes and a Net. Its the only way he's going to catch Rigo. I don't think he's as good at cutting off the ring as Rigo is at escaping. Rigo, wins the footrace or stops Santa Cruz on cuts or swelling.

They want your @$$ beat because upsets make news. News brings about excitement, excitement brings about ratings. The objective is to bring you up to the tower and tear your @$$ down. And if you don't believe that, you're crazy.

Why would Golden Boy/Haymon want to put their ticket-selling Mexican-American guy in with a non fan-friendly Cuban guy who will burst his bubble? I just can't see them doing it.

If I was Golden Boy, Haymon or Showtime I'd want Rigo's future to be fighting in Indian casinos.
