a few years back, this guy robert helenius, was a promising heavyweight contender who was murdering guys in the ring! why the disappearing act? anyone know? he was close to a fight with wlad klit.

Injured his shoulder in an underwhelming performance vs Chisora which some say he lost. His power has yet to resurface.

Helenius got injured and has not looked the same since his return. He was big, brave and coordinated but not tested. Chisora gave him hell.

There were also allegations of glove tampering and wrap loading....but I'm not sure if anything was actually proven.
Helenius made his name by fighting guys who had just had the bejesus beat out of them and once he got ahold of someone semi-fresh in Chisora he had his work cut out for him.
I will say it's a shame he hasn't come back and been competitive but c'est la guerre.

Sherman Williams almost dropped his big goofy ass last time out.
I have no interest in seeing him unless he's fodder for Deontay Wilder or Luis Ortiz.
