There's zero chance of them fighting this year. Khan still has a fight left on his Boxnation deal, plus his main TV deal is with Showtime in the States, there's no stadium in the winter, it's a SKY PPV job, Khan is now the challenger but the bigger name, there's loads of shit to sort out before they actually make it.

Watched this interview between the pair of them when Khan was at 140lb and Ricky Hatton was making a comeback.

They are arguing about their sparring session and who got the best of it. Khan said he "schooled" Brooks. Kell said no one has ever schooled him. Khan also said he would knock out Brooks.

Khan is a lot more respectable and PC about Kell Brooks but even then they said the fight would be on Sky PPV box office and Audley Harrison said it would fill a football stadium.

Its hard to imagine them not cashing in on this before its no longer a viable option. Khan should consider himself lucky that he's still that big a draw. If Khan gets beat again or knocked out that fight loses its real draw. In addition Brook has an optional now so the fight could be made. Next he'd have a mandatory and then we are near the end of 2015. Arum tried to milk Gamboa/Lopez and we all now what happened there.This matchup has the possibility of becoming irrelevant much sooner. I never factored in soccer season when I first thought of this fight but there is certainly more then one stadium in England.
