Default I just signed up to volunteer at my local amateur boxing club

They were very happy to have me there. Gives me an opportunity to be involved and progress within the sport I love.

Only problem is, I'm worried they think I'm a secret millionaire

Congrats. I would like to do it too one day, just no time because of small kid.

    Where is the gym roughly?

Using the opp, I'd like to suggest my website on boxing technique: www.sugarboxing.com

I have two children, 3 years and 10 weeks and for the longest time I was happy to give 100% of my spare time to them ( I work a 55 hour week) but I just need to do something for me, nothing will be a fulfilling as being a father but I do love boxing and was getting a bit depressed with my home/ work cycle so decided to make time for myself and my other interests.

So I've started to expand on my current attachment to the sport, which so far only consisted of watching online videos and taking to you lot.

    No offence

@Jimanuel Boogustus spend as much time as you can with your kids, they grow too fast and any time spent with them will be the best time of your life.

Master, I am aiming to bring more balance to my life - this is why I am making more time to have a positive involvement with my interests. I always fail to make time with most things. Spending time with my son comes fairly naturally so I don't think it'll be a problem. Just have to keep a good balance.

Have been just twice so far, quiet, so just joining in with training (fitness, circuits bla bla). Some of the boys there are ridiculously well conditioned. I have a long way to go

There are few things as rewarding as working with kids in a boxing gym.

Great way to take appreciation of the sport to a whole new level and give a little back to kids looking for guidance. Have fun with it. It's important to take a moment for yourself amidst life's grinding trials & tribulations.

You enjoy yourself kids come in and are bloody hopeless to start, then they learn bit by bit,
then it all clicks, you see them improving there fitness and skills.
And they get some discipline, training improving there diet, it gives some a bit of directions
in there life, I bump into a few lads I helped to train and we have a chat, or they bump into
my son, and ask how's your Dad.
Yes mate your doing some good, there should be more people helping out, well done.
