    Default Taylor v Golovkin

Fair play to Taylor for last nights win....!!!

After his brain bleeding does he really want to go anywhere near someome as heavy handed as GGG?

Should Taylor even be fighting or allowed to?

Golovkin would destroy him Imo and I can see this fight happening as it will make a lot of dollar.

I seriously worry for Taylors health though and can see him getting seriously injured during or after - if this does happen.

Even if I loved boxing that much but I had a brain bleed I would hang up the gloves, health is miles more important than glory. He should pass on his knowledge and be involved with training younger fighters, but if he fought GGG you would have to worry. Why is he allowed to box after a serious injury like that? Its asking for problems.

GGG would demolish Taylor at this point. I'm surprised Taylor is boxing again, but then again what else is he going to do?

No, it wouldn't go 4 rounds. Not fair on Taylor who has only beat a one legged skippy. It answers no questions beyond that he can go 12.

I wonder if he'd fight Quillen...would be the same result though.

Taylor looked worn to me. If he fights GGG, he will suffer permanent and lasting damage. He will become vegetable soup!

He couldn't even put a one-legged guy away and none of those knockdowns were any thing to marvel at.

Taylor has to fight N'dam next, I doubt he gets through him.

I fear you might be right. GGG being the accurate heavy hand and Taylor being susceptible to KO's and brain damage is a bad combination for the ring.

I was really pulling for him last night and am real glad he won. He's one of the nice guys in the sport and he was well on his way of winning before Sam went lame. Jermaine over achieved last night but a man has got to know his limitations. Jermaine would fight anyone but he wont be fighting the Kazak. Taylor is the big fight that Kid Ovaltine must have been talking about.

I've read that Tom Loeffler said he would not put GGG in against Taylor because he didn't want to risk Taylor's health. The NJ commissioner came out and said they wouldn't have sanctioned him. Why do you think the fight was in Mississippi? Frankly, I would heavily criticize GGG, Quillin or even N'Dam for fighting Taylor after seeing last night's performance and knowing his health.

But, this all might be an afterthought if he's in jail.

GGG would hurt Taylor and no one wants to see that.

Cotto v Taylor on the other hand...

This is why I didn't want him winning a trinket. What he'll get is a good payday and a severe brutal concussion. I seriously hope he retires a 'champion'. But he won't.

The saddest thing is Taylor would still be the best opponent that Golovkin has faced.

Imagine discussing Cotto vs Taylor as a pick em fight years ago huh? Crazy.
