This morning I caught a yoga exercise program on PBS and the woman demonstrating the exercises began with exercises to stretch and loosen the feet.

Scrap, that looks similar to dancer's stretches. Although, ballet dancer's have to stretch to be able to stay on their pointes, they also need to the flexibility to ensure stability and correct movement.
A dancer's landing gear needs good maintenance, and so does a boxer's.

Hey Scrap, I remember you sharing this:

I use iron shoes, wonderful things I came up with a thing years ago a wobbly board. Another one, get 2 footballs hands against the wall and stand on them bare footed moving back and forward side to side circles its good fun and teaches you the perception of balance. Expect to fall on your a*** a few times, but its fun.
What are iron shoes, by the way?

If you hear a voice within you saying that I am not a painter, then by all means paint and that voice will be silenced.

Something been working on and never been able to place them, have now Chris. Rather interesting if you watch what is happening, with her big right toe, theres not a lot of flex going down, because of all the running she has been doing, has developed a slight hip problem which is affecting it.

    Change of gait, and plant.

If I understand you correctly the gait may have developed due to one muscle in footbeing strengthened while other muscle in the other foot hasn't? Stretching is the means to strengthen both feet simultaneously.

Problem is in the hip, making the foot biomechanics wrong, making plant and gait different. Alters everything.

Do you think doing the reverse would cure a problem? What about cambers on roads when doing road work they must really stuff people up over a few years too if you take the same route every day for many years and one side is down and the other up slightly.

It happens, on the same theme, all running tracks are anti clockwise. So any left sided runner say on a 200 metre race is at a disadvantage.
