Mostly a sparring partner in New York. Big {6' 2" @ 215 lbs.} and slow.

Once he piled up some losses, he changed his name to Jimmy Brown.

Richard Pittman did some time in the 'Big House' {July 1959 thru January 1965},
I believe for Armed Robbery.

'Undercard'

Ron Lyle ~ 5-0-0 {4 KO's} ~ 209 lbs.
vs.
Frank 'Snakebite' Niblett ~ 15-40-11 {9 KO's} ~ 186 lbs.

Ron was supposed to face Chuck Olivera of Tucson, Arizona. But Chuck was
injured in a training session.

Frank Niblett was called in as a 3-Day replacement.

Ron took control in the Opening Round, but he was laboring by the mid-way
point in the bout.

Ron finally put Frank down and out @ 2:12 of Round 9.

Ron looked 'pathetic'.

'Main Event'

'The Bout'

Earnie wasted little time here, and came out bombing.

'Big Pit' fell down at the {0:25 Mark} after taking a glancing right-hand to
the head.

He got up at the '6-Count' to a chorus of boo's. 'Big Pit' moved around the
Ring and was looking for a place to hide as Earnie stalked at medium-speed.

At the {0:52 Mark} Earnie swung with a left-hook and short right-hand, and
both punches glanced off of Pittman's head. 'Big Pit' went down face first,
and stayed there as he was counted out @ {1:04} of Round 1.
