Shawn Michaels, from his days in the 'Rockers' to 'The Show Stopper'
Owen Hart as the Blue Blazer
Paul Roma, from Young Stallions and Power and Glory

Anyone mention Jack 'The Snake? Didn't like him much but his story lines with Andre the giant and Rick Rude were fun

I just have to bump this thread because it's too much fun....Some stuff on Dynamite Kid Tom Billington

    #1 Fight vs Jacque Rougeau

    #2 Shotgun pulled on ex-wife

So he obviously wasn't a good fellow behind the scenes and that's a shame because as a pro wrestler (mic skills/lack there of not withstanding) he was incredible.

Here's some good fun clips from shoot interviews that The HonkyTonk Man had. Never a fan of his as he was a heel (a really good one at that) and his moves were not all that great, but he's got an attitude on him hahaha

And of course DRUGS what kind of "Wrasslin" thread would this be if we didn't shine a light on some of the craziest people in the business

Iron Sheik, Mr. Fuji, Jim The Anvil, just to name a few of the crazy ass "There's no drug I won't try" club.

And you know what, all very skilled in the world of pro wrestling...maybe there's a link?

I can't remember the exact name, but there is a documentary on the AWA & owner, wrestler Virne Gagne.

I HIGHLY reccomend it. It chronicles Verne as a wrestler, owner of AWA & how he controlled the midwestern wrestler, & think the NWA controlled the south.

And when Hulk Hogan came- he left the WWF went to AWA- During this time he did Rocky's movie & Verne wanted rights to his name, he refused it.
I'll just add this: Hogan then went back to the WWF, where startup McMahon said keep your rights to the name and headscarff trade marks are his.

Thunderlips & B.A. Barracus aka Clubber Lang- per this documentary caused wrestling to blow up, end results most of the greatest wrestlers joined the WWF to be like or get the fame of Hulk.

One by one the NWA, & AWA started to drain of their talent in order to go to the WWF turned WWWE.
The documentary shows how Verne was at the doorstep of where McMahon went to (the top), but because of his ways---he fucked it all up.

The docu shows all the best from NWA Ric Flair to WWF Bob Backlund, just a great review of all the top wrestlers & how at some point Verne Gagne father of Greg Gagne was at the top- then lost it.

I can see Will Ferrell make a good comedy about wrestling.

Truly the word -tragic comedy or tregecomedy would come to mind.

Not sure if our brand of wrestling is over where you are at.
Master Hulk Hogan changed the game. B4 him it was limited to demographics mostly whites and to a degree the beer drinkers.

After Hulk Hogan, shit changed. Race, color, creed, ethnic, age, social group, gender- wrestling to a degree had become a sport.

Not sure who would play Hulk Hogan, but I know who Ferrell could and SHOULD play: Vince McMahon
