Hippin' me on to some names I've never seen. Will have to check them out, thx!

Hope I'm not going Floyd May-racist here, but some of these names sounds like I've seen at an Asian brothel when I was overseas: Can I get long time with Ki-Soo Kim, cause me soo horny. & I got a long duck Dong for Miss Kyun... 'cause she know she got that Yum Yum Yum.

Sot Chitalada should be up there for me.

Sung Kil Moon was raw and brutal fighter who I liked.

I knew I'd heard the name of the first guy, and sure enough he fought a young Thomas Hearns and took a frightful beating. He didn't seem to have a lot of ability, but looked an extremely tough and cerebral fighter at the least. What was unbelievable about him to you? He took some absolute monster right hands off Hearns and I think only went down once or twice but was able to get to his feet with his senses, so obviously a freaky chin, but what else?

There seems to be a lot of really good Asian boxers throughout history, but not a lot of true greats.

    Flash Elorde
    Hiroyuki Ebihara

Honourable mention to Pongsaklek Wonjongkam who is still active and closing in on Galaxy's defense record.

    Thanks Bean-Man,

Ben Villaflor had major problems with his left-wrist, and right-hand.

He also suffered a 'detached retina' in his right-eye on March 13, 1975 in his
WBA Super-Featherweight Title defense with Hyun-Chi Kim in The Philippines.

Ben caught a thumb in the right-eye, and went blind for 5-days.

    Saensak Muangsurin

    'The Shadow of the Devil'

Great southpaw Light-Welterweight out of Thailand.

Won the WBC Light-Welterweight Championship in only his 3rd-bout.

Had a record of 2-0-0 {2 KO's}, and only 8-Rounds of 'conventional' Boxing ring experience
when he fought and defeated {KO 8} WBC Champion - Perico Fernandez on July 15, 1975

Unfortunately suffered a 'bad' injury to his right-eye in 'back-to-back' Title Defenses on
December 30, 1977 against Jo Kimpuani, and April 8, 1978 against Francisco Moreno.

Was never the same, as he fought with only one good-eye {left-eye]. He could not see
out of his right-eye from mid-1978 and on.

Was supposed to defend his Title against Esteban Dejesus in September 1978, but he
had to undergo a 2nd eye operation and had to postpone the bout.

I think the key is definitely steroids. Manny and Galaxy were definitely on the juice and they are the two greatest.

How can you say Galaxy was on drugs? Stop making this stuff up.

He was massive, cut like a body builder and fought in the steroid era. I'm just speculating but if I had to guess, I would say he was using something.
