ye but its a bit more extreme inside the ring mate its not like sparring u rele have to work hard
my friend, youll need alot more than that. even when we go in for 3 rounders, we train 6 rounds of 3 minutes. i train for 10 rounds now, so i can fight 4 round fights.Originally Posted by tam seddon
you think that right now you can do it all, and that youll be fine, but its a very different story when you make youe way to the ring. nerves are a powerful thing, and theyl make you tired. all of the adrenalin will start to drain you, and youll feel sluggish and tired.
also, try punching as hard and as fast as you can, while moving. see if you can do that for 3 minutes. now add the possible factor of minor malnutrition, cause you havent been eating properly as you need to make a weight. now add nerves, the pressure of an entire crowd watching you. now add another guy whos gonna try and hurt you as much as possible, and will be doing exactly the same thing as you... it starts to get complicated. being hit in the body will also make you even more tired... the ways to be taken out of the game are endless!
cheers for the advice hopfully i can use it all but after 2 years tranning i do feel ready to have at least a kids gloves
after all the messing around for months i am finally fighting in kirkby this wednesday
