Both fights are eagerly awaited, a lot of fans want to see Weidman lose because he beat Silva so easily.
I want to see Jones lose because he beats everyone fairly easily, and Rumble Johnson is my latest big hope.
Yes, I know I'm a petty little prick but I can't help it!

I've been away from the MMA scene. How is Jones handling his nose-candy issues?

Before JJ's last fight I felt that Rumble would beat him. I still feel that Jones gets hit too much and that Anthony is capable of putting him away but after the Cormier and Gustafsson fights I just feel that despite the well rounded skill set, knockout power and sheer athleticism of Johnson, Jones will scheme a good game plan, weather an early Rumble storm, take him deep into the championship rounds and either finish it with wicked GnP or UD. With Belfort I'd need to see more from him post THT to think he poses a real threat to a big strong MW like Weidman. Chris retains the belt with a late round stoppage. Belfort looks sharp early but fades due to the bigger stronger guy wearing him down.

Jones has a fairly good chin. I think that he could survive a good blow from Rumble and that he'll manage distance with a few wicked kicks before just dragging the fight on the mat. I feel like he'll win that one with a good game plan (agreed with VD on that one)
As for Belfort vs Weidman... it all depends on which Vito gets into the ring. There's a phenom that can beat almost anybody and a Vito that comes uninspired .... the one that shows up will define the issue of the fight, IMO.

Jones is the man, no doubt about that at all, but I still want to
see Rumble win. I'm not saying, in any way, Jones doesn't deserve to be or belong where he is, it just pissed me off when he refused to fight Sonnen on short notice.
I like Weidman because he was not intimidated by Silva, at all. That was impressive and great to see! Belfort is always dangerous, but his age, the fact that he will be without banned drugs, and the fact that Weidman is not intimidated will lead to a rough night for Belfort.
