i was tryin to make these and then realized that they are for xbox 360 hahaha... do any of yall know where i can get CABS for ps2?

I just found this forum a couple days ago and it's great. In fact, I'm pretty much new to boxing and it's all because of FNR3 on the 360.

I've been creating some CABs and think I'm doing an ok job (particularly proud of my Mayweather CAB - I'll have to post some soon). The problem though is that the ratings I create for power, speed, agility, stamina and chin are always changed when I take them to the Play Now screen. Cut, HRT and sometimes chin most often if not always stay the same. How can I get all my ratings to stay as I assign them? It's frustrating because I'm trying to create Joe Calzaghe and I can't seem to get him a stamina rating greater than 76 even if I max out the stamina rating to 100%. With his fighting style he would never last past the 4th round. I have the same problem creating other boxers. Very frustrating.

Thats because they are different weight classes. And do damage and have speed, accordingly to the weight classes.

Example:

A Lightweight with 100 power

Of all the power possible in the game(from 0 to 100) Would probably be at 60

But a Heavyweight with 100 power

Of all the power possible in the game(from 0 to 100) would be 100

But a Lightweights Speed at 100

Of the entire game possibility about a 90

But a Heavyweights speed at 100

Of the entire game possibility at about a 70



It's not going to max out because of your boxers weight class, and it will only be as high as that weight class allows, so every fighter is different.

If they left all the stats at maximum the same we'd have Heavyweights that move like Lightweights.

Do you get what I was trying to say?

Starr, thanks for taking the time to answer my question. It's good to see I'm not the only one experiencing this. Your explanations for things like power and speed being determined by weight class somewhat makes sense, even though I contend that you could still have a heavyweight who is quicker than a middleweight (not that I'm an expert at boxing). But how do you explain the stamina of heavyweights and light heavyweight maxing out at 76? That's pretty much what I'm getting when I create boxers. I'm not at home now but I swear the stamina ratings of the real EA created boxers are much higher. I'll have to check when I go home.
