Default Biggest fight of all time?

I don't see how Money vs Pac is the biggest fight of all time. In my era it was Ali vs Frazier 1. First of all they were both underfeated. Both were real champions. There fans were young vs old, black vs white, por war vs against the war. Plus this fight were both fighter in there prime. This fight has none of this. Four fights ago Pac got KTFO. Louis Schmeling was Nazi vs America. Johnson vs Jeffries was black vs white. Plus Johnson married white women back in the early 1900's. So I will not be buying the fight nor falling for the hype. Plus I'm not giving Bob Arum one dime of my money.

I think you're missing the point my brother. In terms of a match up of great champions at there peak. This one falls way short. The odds favor Money like a mofo.

The viewing figures, live gate money and revenue generated will determine it surely ?

You'd have to apply a comparison formula to allow for inflation etc to get everything equal

Agreed 100% that this fight SHOULDN'T be the #1 of all time, because it's happening 5 years too late and both guys have clearly slowed down and are at the end of their careers.

But the fact is in terms of public interest and revenue generated, this fight will still be the biggest of all time.

are they at the end of their carears tho

mayweathers fights against MM suggest he might be slowing down a bit but it wasnt that long ago he had one of the biggest wins of his carears and best performances against alverez

Pac just breazed past bradley, who batter marquez just before that

They're both already talking about retiring though eh? Floyd says he's done with the sport and it's not fun anymore, Pac wants to be a politician and hasn't knocked anyone out in 6 years. Neither of them have more than a couple fights left I'd say, unless they go broke in retirement and pull a Joe Louis

Money wise sure but thats it. Where you place that in historical perspective is based on ones standards. As far as actually being meaningful in any way from a purely boxing perspective it does not make the grade. Should Manny win it means a little more but I'd rank it in the area of Robinson/Armstrong only in this case neither fighter is the best fighter in the world today. Neither near their prime really. Biggest hype award of all time also.

Floyd control his own money. So he can retire. Bob Arum controls Pac's money. Which means Arum has stole his money and will have to fight longer than he wants.

Money wise yes but it will be beat as it always does.

In historic terms no because these are 2 little old welterweights passed their best at an over inflated price.

This 'is' the biggest fight of a All-Time.

What 'Planet' do you live on.

Las Vegas is overflowing right now, and you cannot 'fathom' how much money is out there.
