all those guys and I'd be willing to put Greb and Duran in there too, beat Floyd Mayweather.

I can see a solid case to support your feelings. Most of those guys were much larger than Floyd though, so I don't know that it matters that much. I can see Floyd outboxing the slower footed Duran, the ultra aggressive Pryor and the much larger but much slower and cruder Greb. I can just as easily see those guys beating Floyd though.
Now that Floyd is fighting Manny, even though it is later than I would've liked, I can't really fault his record much. The only think left that I would like to see him do, assuming he wins tomorrow, would be to beat a monster like GGG. Will I hold it against him or feel like he ran from GGG if the fight doesn't happen? Hell no!!!! I don't blame him since GGG is so much larger and Floyd appears to have slipped a little. IF he was to beat him after Pac, however, Floyd would easily move into my top 5-6 ATG list.
David Lemieux = Future MW Champ and P4P King
I see Hearns beating Floyd
I see both SRR & SRL having a close fight with Floyd that goes either way.
I don't see Armstrong or Pryor beating Floyd.
He Who Is Brave Is Free
Wisdom, compassion and courage are the three universally recognised moral qualities of men.
Hearns by KO , Duran beats the shit out of him over 15 rounds, SRL just out speeds Floyd simple,
Pryor all over Floyd punch after punch, Floyd is very lucky as he never faced ANY opponents, that
have really pushed him.
The fighters Brock has picked, would have Kicked his ass.
Maybe. The only sure thing is they are all bigger than Floyd.
Yes because Floyd started at a lower weight and Manny at even lower weight. They are not true welterweights in that sense. There is no shame saying they would get beat by these greats.
It is the equivalent of saying Ezzard Charles would beat Sugar Ray Robinson and Hearns at light heavy. As if was not their best fighting weights.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
we shall see how he deals with pacman. I always thought pryor would murder floyd. and now hes fighting a quick, powerful volume puncher i can finally see how it would of gone down.
And pryor is more powerful than pacquiao at 140.
Floyd has a good defense as I have said he is the best now as we speak, as size goes Duran beat
Iran Barkley a much bigger fighter, for the middle weight title.
The simple facts are the competition was with out doubt, a lot stiffer then and you had to be special
to hold a title, it was a golden era in boxing in my opinion.
The Champions and contenders were far superior, to what Floyd has faced but you can only beat
who is about at the time.
Floyd will go down in history as a great fighter, weather you like him or not I just give a opinion
on what I have seen past or present.
Its a massive compliment to Floyd that he is being mentioned in the same breath as these guys.
hearns is all wrong for Floyd, and I do think the Duran that beat Leonard would have been very competitive with him.
I'd love to have seen Floys against peak welterweight Ray Leonard. Both are great thinkers and tacticians, both excellent technicians with guts and good chins. Ray was maybe the more concussive puncher.
I'd also like to have seen Floyd against the Don Curry who wiped out Milton McCrory
If God wanted us to be vegetarians, why are animals made of meat ?
Interesting array of characters.
Pryor-With all due respect one of the most overrated fighters in the history of the sport. Made a name for himself against Arguello in a fight he most likely cheated in and in more then one way.
Leonard- Could look like the Benitez fight however Floyd is a much more complete package in his prime then that version of Wilfredo. I'd most likely go Leonard on points. Its certainly not out of the question that Floyd wins a tactical. Floyd never had a Leonard but Leonard never faced a Floyd either.
Hearns- I see this one playing out much like Hearns/Leonard only Tommy could stop him. 12 or 15. I just don't see Floyd pulling it out like Ray did but then again he has never been in that situation.
Robinson- This Ray saw nobody like Floyd at 147 and once again the reverse is also the case. The quick answer is off course the man called the GOAT by some but I'm not sure its the correct one.
I'd also pick Ray because of his toughness and resolve but its an interesting fight.
Armstrong-Cant see Floyd beating a prime Hank. He's have to fight the same version Robinson did.
Duran- Toss up I think. If you could get the same Duran as fought Ray in the first encounter it would be a hell of a fight. We may get a glimpse of what it may have looked like tonight albeit watered down do to age etc.
Greb- Oh please man Harry would make Floyd into his rag doll. Like fighting a prime Armstrong thats 160. If you took Floyd via time machine to visit Harry, he'd choose a different line of work and if you brought Harry to this coddled world he'd be dq'd. Its not fair really because of the rules. Greb was fighting with detached thumbs. Floyd would have a short career. Ketchel would most likely beat him to a pulp.
