Default Lee Selby vs. Jayson Velez.

This would be a decent fight for Selby's first title defense. Who you got?

I think it'd be a pretty good scrap. Jayson's a bit too easy to hit, IMO, and Selby's faster hand speed might be enough to earn a decision. Let's see how Jayson fares in his upcoming fight vs. Daniel Ramirez first.

Selby is easy to hit with no defence and has 8 KOS in 32 wins , he will be KOED by the first world class puncher he faces. A total British media product.

Maybe the first time I fully disagree with you.

Selby has a rock hard chin according to the reports from heavyweights he has sparred.

I think he has earned the title he has and looked good (almost) everytime.

I can't see how you can be negative towords him.

His power is a bit deceiving as he has sorta done the opposite of normal and he has stopped people recently as opposed to only stopping the tomato cans in his first few fights.

He fought a powder puff puncher whos style made him look good , he cant punch at top level which is why he has 8 ko wins in 21 , those are facts.
He wouldn't last 2 rounds with Walters , he is a belt holder not a world champion. He fights like Hamed only without the power , so he has no chance against the elite.

Bit harsh there, Al. To be fair he doesn't fight like Naz at all. You can see Floyd's his idol as far as his style goes.

Might not be a dynamite puncher but he has some pop on his shots. Gradovich - even though made for him - was getting rocked and rolled, doubt he would have lasted to the end, and although not great has never been whooped like that.

Apart from Walters and Loma he has a good chance against any other featherweight in the world. Which makes him world-class.

I'll stay with my original opinion. Jayson took care of business against Ramirez, but is still too easy to hit, although I thought he placed his hands well and did good work to the body.
