I agree. Eddie looking after the future of British boxing and his own future there. Just smart to give something back as it will only benefit his promotional outfit in the future. I wish he'd started somewhere else than Liverpool. I'm from there but I can't stand the bullshit that "Liverpool is the best City in the World" that you hear from locals that haven't ever been outside of the City. There is genuinely nothing worse than a smug scouser saying that line and spitting all over the place while saying it.

That is because Birmingham is the best city in the world.

As I'm not from a city, I can confirm that so far, none of the places mentioned is the best city in the world. Actually, I'm going for St Davids as the best city in the world. Nice beaches, coasteering and kayaking, plus you won't find thousands of people from there bigging it up.

    its a nice story this

thing is if i was matchroom i would pump loads of money into grassroots boxing, get a major high tech gym set up in every town and city in england

like the veladrome in manchester, since that was built weve become the best in teh world at riding bikes

cost the a million at the most to set up a gym, one fighter from that gym over 20 years could fight once and make 50 million
Officially the only saddo who has had a girlfriend
