Great list that must have taken a while. It's sure going to be a bummer whenever a title changes hands from now on and you have to update it.

It certainly came as no suprise at all to me to see that USA had the most heavyweight!

Interesting that the Asians and Mexicans are so small, I know thats always been the case but I wander how much of it is due to genetics and how much to dietry factors?

Maybe you could research into that too?

Ha listen to me, you've probably spent hours on that and I'm already wanting you to go and get more information!

    for the great report

Yes but is an australian citizen, ill accept the reason why you did it though but if kostya still had the belts he should be listed as an aussie as he has lived here for ages and he pro career started here!

Hey Mick I've got a few more questions that your list has thrown up.

    1. Why are Europeans so crap at boxing? Only Britain is any good, the rest are useless, why is that?

    2. How can Comlumbia have 3 top ten fighters, I thought they weren't allowed to turn pro?

    3. I've got an idea to make Britain the most succesful country in the world..... bare with me here,

Firstly, get rid of the flyweight division, it's crap 108lb men could be beaten up by you and me, plus then we get rid of all of Japans top fighters, Britain climbs 1 place.
Secondly ban the heavyweight division. Lets face it they are all so bad they need to be all retired. Result, six less top US fighters, Britain is gaining some more places.
Thirdly and most controversial, we make the lowest fight weight 154lbs. Ok it's difficut and a lot of good fighters would go, but Hatton is a porker so he could come up, Mayweather is heading there anyway and Corales really needs to put on some weight, the rest of them , well F*** em there has to be some casualties. Good news is though that now we've lost all the Mexicans!

Horray, Britain is the second most succesful boxing nation in the world, just behind US. All we need to do now is to wait another 10 years and the US will be so full of fatties that none of them will be able to make the 190lb max weight limit and Britain is number 1 fighting nation in the world.

Come on you know it makes sense, restoring some British Pride!! :P

bilbo Thanks for making me laugh!!!

    about your questions:

    1. Not sure (maybe footy has something to do with it)
    2. uh!!! Not sure (
    3. Makes sense to me I'll start typing all the letters and mailing them out to all the Orginizations.

On a serious note I think theres a lot of young prospects that look very promising for 2006-2007 so expect if all goes well to see those numbers rise for Britain.
