David Jaure. director/writer born in Mendoza, Argentina and grew up in Miami, has his eyes on Jason Statham to play the late great boxer.

The film will be based on the book Nicolino Locche: "La Leyenda Intocable", written by Adrian Dottori, a great friend of the Welter Junior World Champion between 1968 and 1972. The movie will be about Locche's entire life, from when his parents arrived from Italy to Argentina, to his beginnings of boxing and his career, until his death. " I want to show the world, what a great person and unique boxing style he possessed, as a gift from god of defensive boxing ".

For release next year... sounds pretty sweet. One of my favourite boxers all time.
