    Default McGregor vs. Mendes

The trash talking flash or the heavy handed wrestler.

I'm picking Mendes by TKO on the ground or even rear naked choke.

    Who you got?

I'm taking Mendes, I put some money on him as soon as the fight was announced.

I wanted McGregor to win but I was sure Mendes would! Turns out McGregor can back up his outrageous BS, good for him.
    Great fight!

Yes he toughed it out n won by stoppage apparently.

Been reading it was an awfully quick stoppage though.

I was watching, and Mendes nor anyone on his team said a word about the stoppage. It was the correct thing to do.
As far as I'm concerned McGregor walks right on the border line of being too disrespectful to his opponents. Hey, he's a wild and crazy guy! Lol

It was a good stoppage, Mendes was exhausted and in no position to defend himself.

I was really impressed with Conor's toughness, he took some huge bombs from Mendes and just laughed like it was nothing.

Still not sold on McGregor though. I think he is good but I think Aldo does him in via 4th Rd tko.

I thought the stoppage was good and I had money on Mendes.

It has to be said though that Mendes had two weeks to prepare for this huge fight so obviously he wasn't in shape and it really showed.

I'm not completely sold on Conor but it raised his stock in my eyes because he showed he can take a world class punch to the jaw. He's so big for the division, hits so hard and puts so much pressure on guys. He's going to be a real tough fight for Aldo.

Or for Uriah Faber now that they are coaching against each other on the next Ultimate Fighter.

I wasn't sure if McGregor belonged in a title fight but after his showing against Mendes I have no doubt anymore. Not sure who I pick between him and Aldo but it ought to be a barnburner.
