Default Hearn offers a 2 fight deal for - Frampton v Quigg

"I’m happy to commit to a two-fight deal – one in November in Manchester, and one in Belfast in the spring or summer. That’s not a problem." - Eddie Hearn

But what if one batters the other inside a few rounds and is comprehensively beaten

Surely the 2nd fight loses all appeal and becomes totally meaningless?

I mean if Quigg can take him out in 1 or 2 rounds (which i think he can) i seriously doubt id show any interest in a second fight

I really hope it happens, but can see Framptons team rejecting it outright because the first fight isn't in Belfast. Eddie and Barry are starting to look like spoilt kids now.

Think Quigg is in LA on holiday and then off to the wildcard for sparring. There were also rumours of Donaire/Quigg.

Gotta offer Belfast first. It makes the most money and most sense that it is in Belfast first. If it's close, take it to Manchester.

I'd say Frampton to move up in weight , meaning Quigg will either have to follow at some point or its a fight that missed.

If Frampton is taking about weight difficulties now, why would he risk against Quigg.

I cant speak for anyone else but I'm growing increasingly tired of all these fighters making lame excuses or making things up when they have less then a spectacular performance. These expectations that all of these verging stars ought to have an easy time of it or something is wrong. Gonzalez was good, plain and simple and would be a tough out for anyone including Quigg.

I knew this would have a venue problem. They should just fight in the States but the trouble is they would miss out on the ppv in Britain. They could piggyback a Brook/Khan card? For a second there I had a flashback of the two fight deal between Froch and Bute. We all know what happened there but this is different. I dont see a blow out. Both those contests need to get done. Eubank and Nigel would have already fought twice.

I don't think Donaire has wilted as badly as most. I'll be very interested in seeing the odds if this happens. Quigg, Frampton, whoever - you don't want to be getting clumped by that lethal left hook

That is not an offer that would be accepted by Barry.

Quigg could take on Gonzales and have some more sloppy seconds to try and engineer a fight with Frampton.

    Yes. The whole of Belfast/Ireland.

But there's not a venue big enough in Northern Ireland to have the fight in the winter. Quigg-Frampton is big enough to pack out 20,000 in Manchester

Yea Oddyssey is only 10,000 but the atmosphere gets unrteal. Fighting in Manchester would be a home fight for Frampton. Be 15 - 18000 Irish there just like the time McCloskey fought Khan. The 2 should meet in the middle and fight in the Millenium stadium with the roof closed. Would it sell 80,000 tickets? Probably not but with a good undercard maybe.

Those Irish Protestant Frampton fans would love a trip to a fellow Celtic nation and it's a short trip for Quigg fans.

Calzaghe only did 50 000 against Kessler IIRC. If they can nearly pack the MEN with a Quigg/Crolla double bill I'm sure they can sell enough tickets to make the big stadium viable.

Doubt it does 50,000, especially in a neutral area. Although Frampton has a terrific home following, the smaller divisions don't do the numbers the bigger ones do (unless you're Naz). Quigg/Crolla double bill did 14,000. Sky's top viewing figures are for AJ.

Andy Lee-BJS is set up for 33,000. Last week at the second press conference Frank Warren said they'd sold 8,000 tickets so far. They're trying to get Katie Taylor and Spike O' Sullivan etc on the card to help sell it.

Since Froch-Groves it seems any big fight/fighter thinks they can pack stadiums but that's clearly not the case.

Frampton is small framed, but if he needs to get heavier in order to make weight I'd bet his power would get much better also.
