Do you think September will be Floyd's last fight? You don't think he'll try to go for 50-0?

He's already been talking about his 50th fight. Berto won't be his retirement fight.

I haven't heard him talk about a 50th fight. This is his last fight, definitely. After signing off his contract with the Berto fight, if the TV people wanted to get him back in the ring they would have to offer him Crazy money. And if they offer him crazy money, they will insist on him taking on an epic challenge.
At Floyd's age, he doesn't want it anymore, and who can blame him.
The only possible way we'll see Floyd back in a ring is if he spends everything, which is virtually impossible. Also, that would take years to do and he would be too old, it would be too late.
This is the real world, it ain't no Rocky movie.

He's not retiring. All the biggest bands have had a lot of farewell tours. The Stones, the Eagles, The Who, Status Quo.......

I hope so. Let some of the divisions get back to normality.

He's pulling a "Jay-Z, (this is my last album)". It's all marketing. Plus, he wasn't expecting such a lackluster opponent. By next year, there will be enough buildup for a more formidable opponent.

I was talking about this today, I hope it is his last fight, I'm a massive Mayweather fan but the division is shit at the moment despite having some potentially great fights, they are all terrified of losing their shot at the big money fight with him.

Andre Berto is a complete non entity of a fight, I've defended him against the cherry picking arguments before but I can't this time, if it is really his last fight then fair play to him, he deserves a nice easy fight to end his career but if he comes back 6 months later then for me it just makes this fight even more farcical

I hope it isn't his last one. Not for the sake of getting the 50-0 but because of the opponent.

Thurman and Brook would sound like credible fighters who he could still beat at his young 38 years of age. But Berto for a last fight -even if you accept it as an easy farewell fight- sounds crap, as everyone seems to agree.

But anyway, at least Berto's happy, isn't he?

Would we want this normality back?

Floyd was greatly missed during his 2 year hiatus.

Boxing fans are selfish and won't be happy until floyd is falling apart in the ring.

Floyd sr and uncle rodger will know when floyd should call it a day...

I've seen a few interviews with floyd saying he would love to have a fight in the UK ever since the Ricky Hatton fight, even last year because of the fans, but he might just be playing up to the UK interviews

Sir, you are living in dreamland, Floyd is all about his legacy. He wants to be what Marciano has been for years, a boxing superhero! He's just a couple of fights away, he might go to 51 or 52-0. All this BS that Floyd Sr. has been passing out about Floyd getting tired of boxing is from Floyd being a prima donna and wanting his public to beg him to go for it. Floyd is actually comical and pathetic at times, he acts like a spoiled child.
I'm not saying he isn't a great fighter or that he hasn't done great thing in boxing but he is also that spoiled kid running around in short pants slapping all the girls because they are getting more attention than him.

Part of me can see him doing that ultimate diva move to in all actuality eclipse a 49-0 Holmes..still on top, still dominate unscratched and leaving with a fool tank. Then again..he's still getting suckers to pay $100 to sit on the couch and yell like they are watching history in the making and has to pay for that silk underwear somehow?

Berto is a tune up. Zero doubt he'll "fight on".

Come on, Sir! Floyd is as bad about Vegas as Ward is about California!
