Default GGGs promoter admits Ward met their demands

Even though 50/50 would have meant a pay cut for Ward they agreed and GGGs people admit now that Ward met their demands and still they said no. It went for "Maybe in 2014" to "Maybe in 2015" to now they say "Maybe in 2017". Wait, what about 2016, aren't they going to pretend they want the fight in 2016?!

They say that taking 50/50 would have been a bad deal, that they can do better. Funny, because it was them asking for 50/50. Maybe in the future they can do better. But they have now admitted they are outright liars.

He's fighting lemieux (or however you spell his name) and it looks as if it is pretty much nailed on that he will fight the winner of Cotto v Alvarez and should he win that he will be looking to unify by beating Andy Lee (if he is still champion at that pioint.

It's not exactly like he is ducking Ward to take piss easy fights is it.

They wanted 50-50 before Golovkin left Ward for dead in the popularity stakes. Golovkin is now a HBO PPV fighter selling more tickets for one fight - New York and California - than Ward does in three.

Basically team Golovkin said they have bigger fish to fry than Ward at the moment. It was a bad deal because Ward's team wanted a 50-50 split for a fight in 2016 after each fighter had taken one fight earlier in the year.

But team Golovkin had already announced the Lemieux fight and the fact that Golovkin was made mandatory to the Cotto-Canelo winner. A fight with either is much bigger than a fight with Ward.

They have a goal to unify the middleweight division which includes WBO champion Andy Lee (although they better hope Billy Joe don't beat him).

Why would team Golovkin step up in weight and give 50-50 to a guy that won't leave his hometown?

GGG has earned the right to not move up in weight and lose all that he has achieved. GGG brings it on and is exciting.

Ward needs to rebuild and get back to being number 1 in his weight by beating the new challengers.

Ok, so they're not fighting for whatever reason (GGG ducked him, whatever.) the difference is now GGG is fighting a relatively big fight and earning decent money, who is Ward fighting? There was a rumour that he was on the Canelo-Cotto undercard, that's not happening. I'm an admirer of Ward, but the proof of the pudding is in the eating . FIGHT FFS!!!

Golovkin and his team know that they have very little chance against ward. Golovkin and his team have no intention of fighting Ward ever and why should they? Until ward Imis fighting regularly and brings more
Money to the table if Ward was a big star like Floyd, Cotto or Canelo then Golovkin would take the payday and loss potentially even then they may be hesitant why risk it all against a bigger more skilled fighter with limited drawing power when you have smaller talented fighters who you are favourite to beat and will bring much more money? Ward also understands this but a win over a big name like Golovkin does wonders for Ward. Ward could
Move up and fight Golovkin and may even be favourite to win that fight but he is in the same situation as Golovkin why take that fight when a win over an easier bigger name is available?

I would advise ward to unify the super middleweight division and wait for GGG.

Kov is a beast and would be best to fight if he beats Stevenson.

As much as we all know ward would completely outclass GGG..I really can't blame GGG for sticking around and getting much bigger paydays with the canelo and cotto fights...he could even get a rematch with one of them and that is serious money.

If ward can't get GGG he needs to beat badou jack and james degale and then move up to kovalev.

    Simple.

    You are an outright liar.

Why does Ward keep talking about and calling out a fighter in a SMALLER weight division?

Ward can't draw flies, unlike Froch and Chavez he's not financially worth moving up for. He's a selfish, demanding prima donna who has to have everything his own way. That's why he's having trouble finding an opponent right now.

Golovkin has just sold out Madison Square Gardens. Ward had to GIVE AWAY RINGSIDE TICKETS for his last fight in his hometown of Oakland.

Ward is a boring boxer who needs to repeatedly clamp his opponents' arms and use other illegal tactics like deliberate head butts. I remember Al Bernstein's words "Oh my - let's be honest here, Andre Ward came in like a billy goat!".

Ward like rigo may not have the fan base, but we know what happens when they fight.
GGG is smart not to take that Loss vs ward. GGG is staying in his lane. The big drama show about his money

Seriously Ward is way out of the picture here, the fight everyone wants to see is GGG v Cotto or Alvarez, so maybe this time next year we could get GGG v Ward, but don't hold your breath.
