Red face Deontay Wilder reminds me of the HW in the movie "The Harder They Fall"

Deontay Wilder reminds me of the fraudulent heavyweight Toro Moreno in the movie The Harder They Fall (1956) .

He rides around in a similar bus:

    Wilder's bus: https://twitter.com/garnekmedia/stat...63482952253440

Moreno's bus: IMCDb.org: 1940 Flxible Clipper in "The Harder They Fall, 1956"

Like Toro Moreno in the movie, Wilder fights opponents who take dives (Malik Scott) or are completely shot (Lyakhovich) or journeymen who are no threat (Duhaupas).

Wilder is champion too soon and wants to go back to fighting bums and learn his trade. It is a shame that he is getting away with it.

I gave it a miss as it is a waste of time to be watching a so called HW champ handpicking opponents. Wilder is making a career of it, but he is taking the mick now. If you aren't ready to be champ, then give up the belt.

Deontay Wilder is a fraud. I don't like his bragging and celebrating after beating carefully-chosen journeymen - does he take the boxing fans for fools?

He's been very protected for a long time now, he's age 30 now so it's time for him to sink or swim.

But his management realizes he's not very good, and so will try to keep him away from fighting legit HW contenders like Povetkin.

He beat Stiverne very convincingly. He was a legit contender.

Since then his opposition has regressed, but I do believe he will fight Povetkin.

Then we will see what he is made of.
I think he can beat Povetkin.

Stiverne was sick that night, and wasn't really a top HW anyway (only ever beat Arreola, who has needed shady judges to get past journeymen). Even 40-something Ray Austin, who was called a bum after Klitschko beat a somewhat younger version years before, was dominating Stiverne before the KO.

In a fair fight, Povetkin will beat Wilder easily. However, they will try to get the fight in the USA so they can use a crooked ref (Jack Reiss or Lawrence Cole) or a nationalistic American ref (Steve Smoger) and there will be shady judges to help Wilder if it goes to the cards.

Wilder v Povetkin will be a good fight when and where ever it happens.

Wilder will be found out if he ever fights a bona fide good HW like Joshua, Jennings, Klitschko or Povetkin.

In the meantime, the scam will continue, just like in the movie The Harder They Fall.

Hmmm..... I wonder whether Wilder would make Wlad "pull a calf muscle" like Fury did.
