Default Thurman vs Porter December 12th?

According to fat Dan, they are closing in on a deal for this fight. Great fight though. Both have a lot to gain from this fight and can still easily come back if they lose. Hopefully it comes through.

Brook and khan are possibly the best in the 147 divison depending on danny Garcia next step.

    Floyd and manny are done.

Let the next best step up.

I agree. Spence looks loke jhe has the makings of a top fighter too. Despite a few great wins I still dont rate Garcia. Postol would beat him easily.

Thurman will beat Porter and will be a good name on his career list/cv/resume.

Excellent fight. Thurman better persuade Porter early to stop charging or he's in trouble. Probably a sharper hitter than Brook but certainly not as strong.

These are Al Haymon's boys so they will do a Bob Arum and keep it in the stable.

Finally! 2 of the top tier guys in the division fighting each other. This is what is needed. Hopefully Brook can fight the winner, and Khan can keep avoiding anyone with a pulse in the division.
    Btw, Thurman wins for me.

Khan is definitely not the best in the division.

I think it's between Brook and Thurman.

Based on resume, Tim Bradley deserves a mention. I agree though Kell Brook and Keith Thurman are up there as well.

I think Thurman wins too. Keith is a little too fast upstairs and with his hands. It's going to be fun to watch no matter who wins.

I think based only on resume though. Bradley is a warrior but I wouldn't give him much chance against any of these guys anymore, to be honest. Come to think, has he ever beat an actual welter? Brook and Thurman are big strong dudes, compared to anyone he has fought.

This may prompt Top Rank/HBO to generate a competive matchup as well.

Admittedly I forgot about Bradley. He is a wild card to me. He is a really good fighter and his only real blemishes came from pac which isn't a bad thing. He has beaten some good fighters but who knows how he would do against the best at welter instead of pretty good fighters.
