    Default Terry Flanagan-Diego Magdaleno/Liam Smith-John Thompson - Sat/BN. Fact.

As this is on BoxNation nobody will watch it or give a shit but anyway.

Flanagan (28-0/11 KOs) is the current WBO lightweight "world" champion. He won the vacant title in spectacular fashion when his opponent, Jose Zepeda, busted his shoulder after six minutes and was forced to quit. There's probably around half-a-dozen lightweights in the UK that are more well known than Flanagan. For a "world" champion he's ignored by The Ring and ESPN in their top 10 rankings. SugarJ ranks him no. 10.

Diego Magdaleno (28-1/12 KOs) looks the naturally smaller man. He has the best form though - a SD loss to Roman Martinez and a win, last time out, against Jose A Gonzalez, who has good skills but is a bit of a bottle job. Like Flanagan he is a southpaw, they sort of fight similar, neither are big punchers.

    Flanagan - 8/11
    Magdaleno - 6/5 (general)
    Draw - 22/1

Haven't got a danny. For a degenerate bet - Draw.

Liam Smith-John Thompson is for the vacant WBO lightmiddle title. Smith (20-0-1/10 KOs) is the best of the Smith brothers (according to his promoter Frank Warren. Surprise.). He's also probably the least known. However, he gets a chance to get bragging rights over his brothers by becoming the first "world" champ. Originally he was going to fight Michel Soro, who looked far tougher than John Thompson. Result.

Thompson (17-1/6 KOs) won the ESPN Boxcino comp this year. Before that he was on the missing list after getting ironed out inside four minutes by Frank Galarza (an unbeaten fighter that is still unbeaten). He's never been past eight rounds. He has a decent height and reach advantage over Smith, and looks a sharp puncher, albeit not a big one. From what i've seen he can't dodge a right hand. Smith doesn't do anything standout but is a neat and tidy technically solid boxer. I can see a good start for the American but weak finish.

    Smith - 4/11
    Thompson - 11/4

    Smith KO - EVES

Box Nation have some top fights until December and provide better value for money than Sky and its ppv bollocks.

Vijender Singh looked pretty good on his pro debut. Turning pro as an old boy (29) I fully expect he'll be flattened sooner rather than later but still...

Ryan Burnett looks a good prospect. Like all Adam Booth fighters the mantra seems - if you throw make it count. Something that Groves seems to have forgot

    Stalker-Evans what a 1st round.

Was hoping the bookies made Evans the underdog but they were clued up

This Stalker/Evams fight has started brilliantly, doubt if they can keep this sort of pace up for long but if they can then it won't be going to points

I've been kind of dropping in and out of the first few rounds of it, who's on top at the moment or is 50/50?

Stalker is taking control. If he could punch Evans would have been decapitated

    Cracking fight.

    Stalker won.

Official it's a draw. Evans even says Stalker nicked it.
