Default Boxing tells, those things that give away what a fighter has on his mind.

We've been talking about them for a couple of days. Smiling and shaking the head trying to say the punch didn't hurt when everybody knows it did.
One that I always look for is brushing at the face. Some fighters (for good reason) can't resist brushing at their face when a good punch lands. The more they brush at it the more attention it will probably get, if the fighter doesn't pick up on it his corner will.
What are some of the things a fighter does that tell you how he thinks the fight is going? Good or bad.

    The sign of the cross.

In the second fight between Morales and Pac I noticed Morales constantly doing it at the start of each round the further the fight went (This may be greatly exaggerated in my memory but he did it several times).

When a fighter dives on the floor and starts rolling around in agony from a head push to the face... pretty sure it means they've bottled it.

Semi-related because this reply has little to do with strategy as the OP suggests....

Bruce Seldon's delayed weariness after the last knockout by Tyson.

He pretty much said: "Give me my check so I can go home"

Shane Mosley and his "touch gloves" antics, mainly in the late rounds.

He only does that when he's losing or in a close fight. It's just an attempt to get his opponent to lighten up on him.

My biggest one is if a fighter jumps up and down on the spot for no apparent reason.

A frustrating amount of fighters miss the tell that their opponent's legs have gone.

When fighters get up from a knockdown and look down at their bellies/pull up their trunks/adjust their trunks during the few seconds before the action continues.....I always felt they were trying to look more interested in their shorts to try to look nonchalant or disinterested so that their opponent didn't realize how hurt they still were

Bruno crossed himself 1000 times before he got in the ring with Tyson the 2nd time. I think he was slightly scared.

Quartey did the hand flick thing, Leo Santa Cruz does that today constantly. Both hands just turning when he looks to get off, kinda odd. Chavez did it sometimes inside digging hooks. Still don't know what was with Allen Green after the Pantera fight..constantly looking at his feet.

When a guy keeps shaking his arms out he is having trouble getting loose.

.. and cramping the hell up! Good one. He's not loose, not warmed up and not breathing right and probably ready to bite his mouth guard in half. Those guys will wear out in a few rounds.
They want your @$$ beat because upsets make news. News brings about excitement, excitement brings about ratings. The objective is to bring you up to the tower and tear your @$$ down. And if you don't believe that, you're crazy.

Broke or injured my hand like Gatti would often shake it excessively in fights.

When fighters talk in the corner more than the trainer, theres a problem.
