Couldn't make it through the article once I saw the writer didn't know the truth. He says GGGs only mission has been to unify 160. Not true at all. He has been looking to go up since Steiglitz in2011-Chavez-Froch if the opponent is right or go down for Floyd.

That is why GGG has "detractors", some just want the truth to be told. And so many refuse to face the truth with him. I never see people say he is a jerk even though he admits he and his brothers would go around looking for people to beat up. I never see people say he can't fight. The only real insult I ever see is that his CV is flimsy and it is.

GGG boxing career is quality and the best middleweight by far which is no small feat. Yes he could go up or down in weight but he has stayed at the weight and unified a lot of the belts which is what we want to see.

I don't hate GGG I actually quite like him but I also do believe he's not beat anyone that good yet so maybe that's why a lot maybe dislike him there's an awful lot of hype around him, I really hope canelo fights GGG @160 that would be a great victory for GGG if he can win

That is a reasonable post from you. I think you recognise that dominating and stopping the fighters he has faced demonstrates that he is something special. A lot of people want him to face literally bigger challenges because he is that good which I can understand but do not think is right for him to do yet.

GGG would love to destroy Canelo because he would be perfect for him.

He's like a well oiled punching machine.

Fought decent opponents but would get DECAPITATED by Froch, Ward, Hopkins, Hagler, and oirslicked by Calzaghe.

Plus His face is ridiculous and BOY DOES HIS ENGLISH REALLY SUCK!!!!

His resume is just meh and that is about it i do not dislike him but at some point beating a bum or a gatekeeper gets old. He has a few ok contenders on his list but nothing to right home about also does not help that the talent at the weight which is slim do not fight each other.

As the Floyd fans tend to say, "This half breed is a bum. Any good black fighter would wipe him out."

To think 25 years ago we had

    • James Toney
    • Roy Jones
    • Mike McCallum
    • Micheal Nunn
    • Julian Jackson
    • Nigel Benn
    • Chris Eubank
    • Steve Collins
    • Micheal Watson
    • Gerald Mclellan

They were all floating around the light middle, middle, super middle divisions.

Everyone in that list would beat Triple G.

If Triple G is open to "everybody" then please call out Ward or Lara and see if they want that action. No more bums and no more smaller fighters moving up to 160.

Pussie G gets exposed the MOMENT he fights a legit fighter. His team are are spooked of Ward and Lara. Man I would LOVE to see this pussie fight Ward.

But he is too bytch made to move up in weight. At 168 DeGale, Callum Smith and Ramirez all kick his ass. His power is still there, but his reflexes are shot.

Callum Smith gets nowhere near GGG at the moment, give it a while and yeah maybe, right here and now, no fucking chance, DeGale is quite happy living with his belt and doing fuck all, I can't see him doing it either

    Why the hate?

IMO, it's mostly Canelo fans, bitter that GGG has exposed the raw fear in Canelo, and they blame him for it.

Also Floyd fans, mainly because they are wankers.

    That hurt..but funny.

I can respect GGG as a fighter and completely understand him wanting to fight Saunders, Jacobs and canelo to unify the division.

The problem is that he has no Froch, Kessler or Dawson to really show how great he is..

He beat a welterweight last night just like canelo beat Khan.

Would we all praise Andre ward if he beat a smaller canelo in 5 rounds?

GGG is a great fighter but floyd would humiliate him if they were in the same weight class..easy work..all up and down..no flashy effects..lol
