Salido is the worlds best journeyman right now i think, even in this 10th round with vargas pounding him he still manages to keep throwing and landing some hurtful shots. really good round for vargas though, he really should win the decision now

Final round but feels like this just started five minutes ago How Salido has not lost a point is the thing of mystery. Tough gritty respectable brawl but Vargas deserves this from here!

have a feeling they'll meet again

Round by round a draw is reasonable. But in totality, Vargas got the better of his opponent.

he was just rambling about how the ufc doesn't cast away guys due to a defeat and they make fights regardless of fighters records and so on... he was making the point that if salido lost he is still a great draw for fans and so on. I think roy is right a defeat isnt the end of the world and the ufc match making shows this.. that is the general gist of what he said

Don't think Salido earned a draw, guy just seems to know someone. Poor Vargas needs zippers installed above his eyes after this. Nasty gashes in interview and probably long lasting

I think boxers cast themselves off by not fighting more regularly, particularly coming off a loss. It's best to get back in the ring as soon as possible to wipe that smean from a loss away.

Roy kinda talking out of both sides of his mouth as he praises a guy who was on HBO ppv before he even hit double digit losses? The ufc is basically the premier network for exposure same as hbo or showtime or lame ppv is to boxing. Tons of promotions and branding. Underdogs with sketchy records are really what make the boxing and mma worlds go round. I mean man Gabe Rosado was on the undercard Roy

How many wars has Salido got in him? He's a machine!!! What a great fight that was, favourite one of the year so far for me.
