Default PBC on NBC Tonight: Fonfara vs Smith jr and Payano vs Warren II

Pretty sparse weekend and this looks like the extent of live action on the tube. Not a bad card really and plus to again have action on 'free' prime time tv. Main event features bantamweight title rematch between Juan Carlos Payano 17-0 and Rau'shee Warren 13-1 who fought a close one last Aug. Assuming the co feature is Andrzej Fonfara in a keep busy facing 21-1 Joe Smith jr. Smith is going from the backyard pool to the Pacific ocean here with opponent level and feels like a bust up in the waiting but we'll see if he can swim.

Also Hugo Centeno Jr 24-0 vs Maciej Sulecki 22-0 Spr. middles. Talented Erickson Lubin 14-0 looks to impress vs Daniel Sandavol 38-3. Wouldn't be shocked to see him get off the canvas to do it. Set to kick off at 7:30 pm...roughly three hrs here.

Warren-Payano starting it off. Warren pretty sharp again and tattooing with the short jab off Payano lead. 2 southpaws in a chess match early. Warren 3-0 and more committed and sturdy than I remember. Payano steps up pressure late 3rd

These trunks. Both fans of tigers apparently Early attack stands Payano still in 4th. Payano back with wide hooks and couple body shots. Both shake their heads no. 4-0 Warren. Warren moving behind Payano right jab and catching him in return with regularity.

Alright Payano may have swayed the 5th. Solid pressure and again Warren shacking his head after catching a couple choppy hooks, ref warns Warren for holding. 4-1 Warren

Maybe I'm only one bottle in but like the right of Payano in 6th. Not hurting but touching much more. Warren more mobile and loading up counters. Heating up a bit. 4-2 Warren

Honestly 8th not even close from here. Payano boring in with both hands and the feet of Warren are now doing much more work than his hands! Did next to nothing there. Can totally see how the scores were all Helter Skelter in the 1st fight. 4-4 even

The bright orange shorted fellow doesnt seem to be throwing too much back, sure he is rolling out of the way but he doesn't seem to be landing much of anything, going to be hard to win like that :S

Right eye of Payano closing up? Better Warren return in 9th but getting caught with some in last minute. Close one, 5-4 Warren.

Thurman and his WWE like interviews ffs

I got it 5/4 Payano. Warren seems out of fuel.
