    Default Gavin v Eggington

On tomorrow, it's not the biggest fight ever bur I couldn't see any threads for it.

Gavin failed to make weight, I hear from someone who knows a lot of Gavin camp that he still had 12lbs to drop last week and he's just been unprofessional in his training.

I hope Eggington smashes him but I think it'll be Gavin on points

They were promoting the fight at the Bull Ring but missed them.

They are hyping this up in the midlands and Eddie was on the local radio making this out to be a near world title eliminator.

I like Eggington but he hasn't pushed on like I was hoping he would, I fucking despise Gavin though, blue nose bastard...or in his case he's a blue nose with a white nose

    Frankie Gavin really annoys me.

Lots of people have given him lots of their time, lots of people have supported him, lots of people have paid to watch him fight.

lots of talent in the amateurs, and he was good enough to become Britain's only world amateur champ. He was feted and got a great start as a pro (up there with the money thrown at other world and Olympic amateur champions)

I've no idea what is going on in his head or his life, but his pro career has been a complete disappointment. He has consistently failed to dedicate himself to his talent, he has suffered multiple training injuries because he lets himself go so much between fights, he has failed to fight good fighters and put on an exciting show, and - worst of all - he fails to make weight like any half decent club fighter does week in week out. Because of his indiscipline and lack of dedication, he ends up fighting about two weight divisions higher than he should actually be, resulting in boring matches against boring opposition.

Frank Bruno, Dennis Andries, Donny Lalonde, Carlos Baldomir, Arturo Gatti, Iran Barkley and many others - who absolutely maximised every ounce of talent they had through hard work, grit and determination - would be disgusted at this waste.

I expected a lot off Gavin but he was a great disappointment as a professional, yes promised a lot but turned out to be pretty poor.

His opponent was dreadful and still tagging him clean, a decent journeyman would knock this guy out.

Crazy, I don't know anything about the division but he didn't look that class to me. How is winning all that matters if you're 20-0 fighting a guy who is 9-27, what's the point.

Cunningham wins! Big upset. Gogo's legs were stiff and he was going to lose.
