Default Joseph Parker vs. Andy Ruiz Jr

They are scheduled to fight this coming Saturday Dec 10.

    What is your prediction?

I think Parker should win easily, but Ruiz always has a punchers' chance.

Agreed. I thought Parker looked a bit better/more promising before the Takam fight, but if he's smart and jabs he should be able to beat Ruiz. If it turns into a scrap Ruiz has a good chance though I figure, as much as he's a fatty he does have nice hands, plus there is the account that he busted Parker up in sparring and all, hopefully it's a good one!

A lot of good fights next week with AJ on as well.

Cant see how Ruiz wins. Parker just needs to keep the work rate up and Ruiz will tire and quit. Hes just been fighting puddings that fight at his pace. Take the fight to Ruiz and he will crumble

Parker should win comfortably if he just moves. Will be interesting to see what shape Ruiz is in for his big chance! If he's not any lower in weight than recently he will struggle to keep up but if he's lighter and or Ruiz trades too much then he has an excellent chance.

I've seen Andy Ruiz Jr. live in LV and his power is real and he has fast hands especially to the body.... But I'll go with the guy that seems to always be fit and in shape for all his fights and wields power w/ both hands in Parker..... Should be a barn burner of a fight while it lasts....

On it's face it can strike some as a so so heavyweight match. Especially for a trinket. But it's not a bad scrap at all actually. Parker is a breath of fresh air but still plenty of questions to answer. Ruiz jr has become the butt of many fat jokes but his hands are real and this is an opportunity to shake the memory of laboring with used up 40 year olds and being hit clean by Liakhovich. Gotta go with Parker in a break out type win.

So this is same day air by HBO? Triple header card with Mason Menard vs Ray Beltran on same. Now THAT could be a fun little scrap!

It's a great fight, very evenly matched. I can see it being very close on the cards with Parker running away with the rounds but getting dropped and it evening up.

You mean he had come in heavy so Ruiz doesn't look so much like the Pillsbury DoughBoy ?

Or he has not taken him seriously and just believes he has to turn up and win?

This fight is one of those where it COULD be a fight of the year knock down drag out slugfest or it could be 2 bloated elephant seals slapping their titties together for 10 rounds....I always WANT to assume it's going to be a great fight.

I think Andy Ruiz "Carl's Junior" will win this fight by a TKO 8
