    Default Naoya Inoue v Kono

was looking on boxrec as there is not much happening right now..
seems like there was a few cards on in japan over the course of the weekend, Inoue defending his title v some chap called kono. inoue is usually pretty fun to watch

    BoxRec - Naoya Inoue inoue
    BoxRec - Kohei Kono kono

uchiyama also lost his rematch with jezreel corrales by split decision, doesnt seem to be on youtube though :S

there were a few other world title fights too

    BoxRec - event

muratas ko of sandoval... referee takes a bizarrely long time to call the fight off, despite the fact the mexican clearly cant stand up :S

Magic left hook and I thought the ref stopped it first time.

Donaire would be proud of that punch.

    Quality fight.

Inoue is the same weight class as choclatito too, that would be a fun fight, I think gonzalez is too good for him though but he is getting a bit older now and inoue is fast and pretty powerful. I doubt i will happen either, pretty sure gonzalez will go up in weight and the japanese guys like staying in japan to defend their titles(i think gonzalez has fought in japan before though)

Do you have some information to suggest Chocolatito will move up or just speculating? Because he just got to this division, he's already at his 4th and frankly he's too small here. He's getting by on being so good.

maybe i am behind the times, pretty sure last time he was on hbo, v mcwilliams arroyo they were talking quite a lot about him moving up ... maybe i missed a fight and him moving up and he is settled at this weight, if so then that's good, maybe we see him inoue !

aha yes i just checked boxrec, seems he already did move up ! I don't follow the smaller division so closely, it was the fight v arroyo the hbo guys were going on about him moving up in weight, seems like he did and i missed it, so now he is in a good weightclass for him and the same as inoue, I like it ! but still the japanese fellows do like to stay in japan and defend their single belts so who knows if it will happen.

No harm in speculating from time to time.
