Even if they agree a deal it isn't a deal, it's just a standstill agreement. The "deal" means Britain stays inside the customs union for a couple of years while the terms and conditions of the actual deal are worked out. Just wait and see the shit Britain has to swallow to maintain access to the destination of hundreds of billions of its goods and the source of hundreds of billions more, not to mention all the jobs. It will become clear to even the most ardent Brexit supporter than the resulting deal will never be anywhere near as good for the UK as being part of the EU was. They're going to get extremely pissed off at somebody. It won't be themselves naturally.

Yes oh how you'll miss being under Germany's boot .....really would have been easier to just give up during the Blitz

It has nothing to do with being under Germany's boot or the world war that propaganda does not help or get us a deal which is what is required.

Reality is the Tory government should never had a brexit referendum but did it because it was tearing them apart. They still could have got any deal through when they had the numbers in parliament but May lost her majority. It is their mess and now they have come with up with an even worse deal because they are so desperate to leave at any expense.

Hopefully they lose the vote on Saturday and have to ask for the extension.

....I'm also curious why nobody says one single solitary word about Guy Verhofstadt calling for the creation of an "EMPIRE" to rival America, India, Russia, and China.....does that not strike any kind of chord with anyone?

Of course not. I have never pretended that the EU was some kind of Utopian vision made real. That does not make El Kabong talking about annexing and being under Germanies boot and giving up during the Blitz and ze this and that, any less racist. It is pathetic and low and incredibly insulting to the Brits that gave their lives defending this country to have a jumped up American hipster telling them that they don't have the right to move on. That he is pissed off with America not owning the NHS and so he is happy to piss about with their honour in order to win an internet argument.
