I'm just happy that Roy didn't take any more major head trauma and I hope he finally hangs up his gloves and focuses his energy on other things like commentating. RJJ is one of the saddest examples of a fighter staying around too long.

Be happy for Roy.Stubborn old fool won't quit and this is likely the closest he's going to come to a "title".Good for him.
Hey props to a consummate professional. But all it does it convince him that risking more punches is a good thing and the levels are bit raised next time. Unfortunately it also see's a once great champion and try to legitimize yet another joke sanctioning body.

He's beyond help at this point. The Enzo KO loss shoulda finally FINALLY been the end of it.But it wasn't.So, I'm happy for him on this one. Retire I say. Beat this Imamm Mayfield then retire if Roy must fight again...which we know he must.

There, you got a cw belt... the string from middle to heavy is complete... Re-Fckin-tire already! I mean that in the most respectful way possible. The sad thing is the accumulation of the damage hes sustaining doesn't show itself for a little while. Depression, mood swings, insomnia, vertigo, deafness, blindness...
They want your @$$ beat because upsets make news. News brings about excitement, excitement brings about ratings. The objective is to bring you up to the tower and tear your @$$ down. And if you don't believe that, you're crazy.

Roy must need the money? Is it ego? Or just he can't say no?
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.

Maybe a combination of the 2. The moment he steps up ever so slightly it'll all come crashing down again. He was saying this was his last year. I hope it is.
