What happened to GGG last night? Did he get exposed, or is age starting to catch up to him? Maybe a bit of both?

Jacob fought his very best with movement and power which kept GGG respectfully away.

Jacob was able to take the punches better probably because of the weight advantage.

    That was GGG toughest bout.

golovkin won a close fight against his best opponent to date, nothing weird here in my opinion.

Jacobs blew it by not sticking to his game plan.

A very solid and competitive fight. GGG legitimately won a very close decision against a top notch and bigger opponent. It's not weird, it's just that we've been used to GGG slaughtering his opponents for a long time now and we came to take it for granted.

Bingo.Jacobs was a highly motivated and focused challenger as well.

Unfortunately I did not get to see the fight past the fifth round and I am a fan of both these fighters. Mike Tyson was asked at his high point if he saw his replacement on the horizon and at the time he had the gall to say he hasn't been born yet and the next fight was with Douglas. GGG will be wishing Jacobs a happy birthday one of these days but like I said I am a fan of both and I believe GGG keeps fighting tougher opponents each fight and one of my favorites is Jacobs and I wouldn't want to be on the other side of the ring from Mr. G.
