Default How good is Daniel Dubois?

He's a 4-0 heavyweight right now with all wins coming against opponents with winning records and all wins coming by KO. I saw an interview where he was asked and confirmed that he dropped Anthony Joshua in sparring recently. Is that believable to you guys or BS? Does he have the real potential to catch up to AJ or even surpass him?

He is very slow and ponderous and does not have the speed that Lennox had at this stage of his career.

Dubois is more Bruno than AJ at the moment.

He has a helluva long way to go but he's only 19 so he's got a helluva lot of time to improve, he will have a good career and his power will take him through the vast majority of it but I don't think he'll ever be "the man" as boxnation like to make out.

It must be difficult to match him at the moment, I mean 4 fights against people of this standard is to be expected but he's not learning anything at all from them, step him up now and it could be too soon, I just hope he's learning all he has to in the gym.

I'd like to see him do well because he seems like a genuinely nice Kid, bit of a gentle giant outside the ring from the interviews I have seen with him.

Massive potential there's no doubt about it but until we see him in Joshua v Whyte type of fight all we know is he can punch.

Bruno would smash AJ within a couple of rounds so that's a good thing

Would it be too early to match him with David Price if he's still fighting? John McDermott still fighting? I'm sure Audley would come outta retirement to face the kid lol

If they continue to push this 'fast track' routine we'll find out soon enough. Or they'll do an embarrassing about turn and have him plodding along building slowly.

My preference would be the later. No offence to the lad but he looks and sounds as thick as shit. If someone hangs around beyond a few minutes he just might start to wonder what the fuck is going on.

If Frank goes against his primal instinct and matches him hard, they might just ruin him before he gets going.
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough

This week DD is fighting DD who took Hughie Fury, future world champ, the distance. If DD can beat DD quicker it will prove who the real bestest is.
