i expected Nathan to get a beating but he was even worse than I thought he'd be.

pretty shameful display from a defending world champ especially against a guy in his first fight at the weight. I suspected that Nathan wouldn't get the tactics right going in. Recently he's had a tendency of leading with his face trying to tough it out from the start. If it didn't work with a washed up fonfara why would he think it would work here.

That hunched style doesn't work for him and jack took full advantage looking better in every fight we see him.

relieved Nathan has packed in it in now. That was painful to watch as the Kovalev loss. Badou is a nice addition to the already packed 175 division

Cleverley said he would retire if he lost, let's see if he keeps his word.

Hes announced his retirement and even if he did go on, there's no fights out there for him. He'd have to go back down to domestic level but I wouldn't even fancy his chances vs that Haye wannabe on boxnation Antony yarde

Actually that would be a good crossroads fight for Yarde.

Even though Cleverly is a shadow, this current version of Jack would have battered him at any time regardless. It's incredible watching Jack improve so greatly, become so much faster, stronger and sharper as he gets older. They've got some good training "methods" in the Mayweather gym.

Cleverly was winded in the opening minute(s) which totally drained his confidence and output.

    Jack-Kovalev would be some punchup.

Kovalev took nathan apart and he will never ever be the same.

Ward needs to stop wasting time and fight Stevenson.

So Cleverley should retire, fair enough, "let's see if he does."
But wait, it's ok to carry on if he becomes a stepping stone and a punchbag for a young up and coming guy to put on his CV.
    Fucking priceless!!!👋

For Yarde it would be a good fight, for Cleverly it would be a bad move.

Yarde hasn't fought at British title level yet let alone European or World, he hasn't been past four rounds. He (Warren) swerved out of purse bids to face Hosea Burton (who had a competitve fight with Buglioni before getting chinned), which is alarming.

If you think he can beat Clev (even this semi-shot version) then you must think he can compete against all the fringe world-class prospects.

    Beterbiev?
    Gvozdyk?
    Bivol?

Just look at who they've faced compared to Yarde with almost identical pro experience (for what it's worth i'd expect all three of them to murder Clev).

Did you go from American judges would screw him to PEDs to taunt me or are you just incapable of saying X beat Ys arse?

I never said anything about "American judges" screwing Clev, you have me mixed up with someone else mate

And i'm certainly not taunting you. Why? No disrespect but why would I possibly have you on my mind? There are loads of regular posters on this forum offering a variety of opinions on a smorgasbord of topics, there's been over a dozen posters partake in this very thread alone. I would have named or quoted you if directly addressing something you've said.

PEDs? I've seen/heard people that apparently "know" about these things accuse him. I'd rather believe his improvement is down to good old hard work and dedication though, innocent until proven guilty.

I doubt Stevenson takes it.
