I've been taking fish oil and some multi vitamins for years. Just today my wife wanted me to buy her wheat grass. While at gnc i picked up some super food mixtures that claim to give you energy. It's loaded with non gmo veggie nutrients and other stuff I know nothing about. Anyone take any supplements they find to be beneficial.

I've been taking it for about 18 months. After the first 4, 5 weeks I noticed that I was feeling considerably better- good- than I had before. I hadn't changed anything else.

I supplement a fair bit. Tangy tangerine, plus curcumin, ginseng, garlic and ginger, selenium, fish oils, calcium/magnesium etc, probiotics.

Garden of Life raw meal is also very good. I take a scoop every morning knowing it is giving me protein and nutrients in easily digestible liquid form.

I take multis and herbs. Ginseng, Ginkgo, ginger root, fish oils and some others. Oh and some coffee. That's a supplement so I don't beat the boss with a folded chair on any random given day.

A lot of it is down to diet. So garlic and ginger can be used in most dishes, not just asian food and things like tumeric are best in cooking. The curcumin in tumeric is not easily absorbed by the body but if you use it in cooking twinned with black pepper then the absorption is greatly increased. There is a reason why Asians are often a lot healthier and diet is a huge part of that. @walrus I have found avoiding too much citrus and acidic foods and trying to keep a more alkaline balance is very helpful for Psoriatic Arthritis, as is Tumeric. Fish oil again great but even better when used alongside real fish form a healthy source too. I would personally stay away from Supplementary all in one solutions, particularly things like Garden of Life products, where ridiculous unsubstantiated claims are made by a totally unqualified manufacturer with a an obvious vested interest in making up rubbish. It contains all kinds of crap including toxic things like vanadium and is no substitute for a balanced diet of real healthy food. There is no magic pill.

Raw meal is just powdered vegetables with added probiotics. The ingredients are all organic and healthy. Nothing in the ingredients list I would shake my head at there.

Half the benefit with vegetables comes from the fact that they are not in powdered form and are not sold to you by a God bothering Snake Oil salesman. He is just selling you stuff mate exactly the same as an Evangelical asking for your money, only here his ministry is self aggrandizing and his own personal health/wealth empire . Here he is telling us how "God" healed him of cancer ffs

Will look into that. Powdered vegetables are meant to be pretty good for you, but if the metals are too much then they are too much. Will do a heavy metals and nutrient test just in case.

I've been meaning to get back on some supplements I was on some B vitamins and vitamin C when I had torn my bicep, but I just haven't followed up with any supplements at all recently.

I've been back in the gym and I'm starting to notice better results....I may have to grab some creatine or NO xplode pre workout or both.

I take a little medicated coconut oil from time to time after a workout as well which is quite the nice way to finish a workout.

Some docs say we are walking around poisoned by metals. It is something to look into
