Just because i refuse to suck up to you like some or avoid you like others, do not mistake that for anger. Plain language is what it is, and yet i unlike you I am not resorting to calling you a coward much less demanding anything, especially answers.

It is 3:30 pm and i am happy to be back working from home inside now it is raining whilst at 10:30 am you i assume must be on your break.
Well if you say so I must be, I mean who are you going to trust ME or Beanz's reading comprehension skills?

Yeah yeah spare me the "I'm flat calm and peace loving" bullshit, if you were actually those things, would my posting even draw your attention? I doubt it. You're a busybody, you always have been and you always will be.

Oh you're working now? Be careful, don't strain yourself

    Who are you talking to?

I would imagine that someone who has spent ten years as a legal case worker and four years as a professional note taker and student support worker for University students, and who has been employed by several editors and commissioned to write professionally, would certainly be comparable in reading comprehension abilities to an insurance clerk. You tell me, it is hardly difficult to see the frustrated and sour tone in almost everything you post.

And now after calling me a coward, despite me offering you the chance to speak face to face and drop the fake alpha male bullshit, you are now pretending that i am a busybody for engaging with you on a forum made for that express purpose.

And no i don't have to strain myself because i love my work and i worked bloody hard to get myself into a position to do what you can't.

I'm not sure who I am talking to, the target keeps shape shifting.

So I guess some sort of incident happened between that time and now which has caused you to misunderstand and/or deliberately misrepresent what I post? Belittle what I do all you want to, go right ahead, I don't mind in the slightest...but it's incredible that not only do you have this sort of mind malfunction when reading MY posts, you've got it with select others as well. Very odd how that happens.

You don't HAVE to be considered a coward, I mean you COULD stand solidly on what you believe, who you're voting for, who you're hoping wins.....but nah, you don't even recall who you voted for last election. I think it's shitty you want to hold me to a standard you yourself don't follow. Oh now you WANT To engage with me? So you'll answer questions and debate instead of just emote and look to the refs waiting for them to call a foul?

If you love your work that's great.....doesn't necessarily mean you're good at it

I am not belittling what you do at all. That simply is not true. I don't give a shit what you do, I have done everything from cleaning floors and wiping arses to lumping breeze blocks and data entry. It is what you do in the modern era where few jobs are for life. I do not expect to find that i am unique i that. You are the one with the bee up your arse calling me a coward and pretending i am somehow lazy.

I vote for the party and local MP that has policies and principles that i agree with, not because of some ideological dogma that dictates i should only vote for one party slavishly. Do you think that makes you principled and me some kind of coward? What are you talking about? I have never voted for the Lib Dmes but i have voted for The Labour Party, The Green Party and the Trade Union and Socialist Party in Europe. I have got off my arse and fought for my rights and those of others for over 30 years here and in Europe so i am hardly holding you to the same standard, when all your supposed worries about the overstep of Government, and tyranny, have amounted to you sitting on your arse and applauding it as it goes on for the last four years.

It is a great privilege to be able to what you love, and yes actually to compete and get long standing contracts, of course you have to be good at it.

Kind of missed the point, but whatever it ain't my job to walk you through it. You feel good about you that should be all that matters and I'll leave you be.

just wondering what is worse: (nothing to do with the above bickering)

    a. bee up the arse
    b. bee in the bonnet
    c. knickers in a right twist
    d. cockwomble threw a paddy
    e. gormless knob
    f. chavtastic

...can I say "The cockwomble had a bee up his ass and threw a paddy, it was chavtastic"?

Chavtastic is a great one. I know i have used it a bit because it is like a re-appropriation of an insult. CHAV supposedly came from Council House And Violent, but for me that is a large part of my culture. Council Estates like Trailer Parks or any kind of Social Housing are still communities and yes you get violence from both gangs in other Estates, and those on your estate, as well as fights with the traveling fair lads (Gypsies), but you also get parents that look out for other peoples kids and a kind of close knit bond. That forges new language and music and fashion and other stuff, and then when people grown up they become snobs and use the CHAV thing to try and shame scruffy urchins in the same Chavvy tracksuits they themselves were wearing in the 80's. Electro has become Grime, and bike chains and Black widows have become guns and knives, but it is the same old, same old, in many ways.

    Trailer Park Bling = Chavtastic

I always thought chav was a London thing. I used to work with a bunch from London many moons ago and one asked me, I was 17. Got any chavs? Got any what now? Chavs, kids. OH! No, I'm 17. This would have been in the mid 90's. Chav fever hadn't taken hold at that point. I swear to god, the chav conversation blended seamlessly into 'know anyone who wants a shotgun?' Ummm no not really. Again I'm 17. They had this shotgun up for sale out the back of a Ford Escort that one of them bought for 50 quid, so the four of them could get down to Bristol to do building work at the MOD building in Filton because it was cheaper then the train. Anyone that fancied a look was allowed to, wrapped up in a blanket in the boot of this Escort. I thought this was typical London behaviour.
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough

Yup. Had the same down here a few London wide boys running a pirate radio station from our loft boasting about their shooters and stuff. They robbed the shared house i was in and the lads in it, who were farm boys, just went and kicked the London lads doors in and got their stuff back. Funny old world

    "The London Lads"

    The London Lads were light
And weak in their sad plight:
    Like coked-out jocks and door-keys
    They hung out in Torquay

And got their lights punched out
    And ram-rodded in their snouts;
The clock struck ten, and there's Big Ben
And of that there is no doubt.

Don't forget, I'm not bad at that stuff anyway, and I'm president.

"So I call some guy, the head of Exxon. I call the head of Exxon. I don't know."

President Trump went on to describe a hypothetical conversation: "How are you doing? How's energy coming? When are you doing the exploration? Oh, you need a couple of permits?"

"When I call the head of Exxon I say, 'You know, I'd love [for you] to send me $25m [£19m] for the campaign.' 'Absolutely sir,'" he added.

I always thought that 'chav' came from the Romany gypsy word for 'children'.
