    you got on board quick.

How bout Bin Lu, decent but way too early to tell, but going for the WBA Light-flyweight title in only his 2nd fight, against undefeated Carlos Canizales 20-0-1 (16), is pretty ballsy.

    True.

He's still a bit raw (Matias), but he's got serious power and it looks like the rest can be worked on. I might be a bit biased in jumping on that bus so quick.

Bin Lu I know nothing about. Seems a bit "Loma-nesque" in fighting a comparative veteran in only his 2nd fight.

If you don't know who he is you will soon.

His footwork is INSANELY good and gives him the angles to throw those Naz/RJJ type punches plus gives him a Loma style defence

Great prospect agreed and his footwork alone sets him a bit higher than the other Josh.... Taylor.

There's a good argument for both i think and they both should be nailed on belt holders sooner or later

Josh Kelly's footwork is not better than Josh Taylors. His upper body reflexes are better than Taylors but his footwork from a technical standpoint certainly ain't. And just to let you know boxers who have sparred both say Taylor's better.

Sorry, don't want to go over the top, but these combos reminded me of Leonard.

Next stop is David Avanesyan, however, they were waffling about Khan. Now obviously Khan is never interested in the fight but it's time for that level (faded world class name).

The kid looked really good against a tough and decent, but overmatched opponent. Beautiful combinations to secure a bit of a hometown stoppage. His opponent was never in the fight though to be fair.

Those hooks are vicious, Adam Booth says he'd stick him in with Khan or Brook next no problem.
Really wanna see him moved along and thrown in the deep end.

He looked brilliant didn't he? We are so spoilt with the amount of talent that is currently around.

That wasn't even a keep busy fight. He's contracted for a certain number of fights a year and that was one to make up the numbers. He's got one more fight this year and it's on to bigger and better things. Turns out a mate of mine knows his dad really well. Sunderland is like a fucking village.

Okay, trouble came long before the top. Hopefully now he will learn the fundamentals because he can’t Roy

Laughable how boxing fans rubbished this young fella after the Robinson draw. Terrific learning fight for a prospect against a proven solid consistent guy (I understand the Americans seeing him for the first time not liking the "Roy" style, it's par for the course for the foreigner to get hate)

He's back on the big Jacobs-Chavez Jr card this Friday.

Laughable is your constant complete BS. Nobody rubbished him. I said 2 years ago when he meets equal talent he could be in trouble. So I didn’t change anything after Ray as you lied. I had it right from jump street unlike you. And still I haven’t rubbished him, I said I hoped he would learn to use fundamentals to meet his talent. But I appreciate that you are a consistent lying POS. It’s nice that the posts are so close together so people can see you being a lying POS. Have you ever made an accurate talent assessment? You can see mine was spot on. Seriously, do you know anything about talent or can you only lie? Perhaps that’s the difference between someone that works in the sport and someone who is quite clear about their biases. Oh, and what did I say your biases were “by race and country I can always tell you Fensters opinion”, just yet another coincidence how your opinion falls right?

Time after time after time I can point out how your opinion coincidentally falls exactly the same. I’ve watched it for years. But it’s just coincidences right?

The Robinson bout was a good learning fight for Kelly, lucky he was the promoters guy. Might have had a loss on the record otherwise. His withdrawal from the Avanesyan fight was also concerning. I hope he has corrected his team and training camps because he does have talent.

What happened to all his buzz and following . Looks like the Avanesyan is finally coming off this Saturday picked up by Dazn. On paper looks fairly competitive but as is the norm in as of late both off of a year+ away.

Edit...Smash had it covered with sticky good on ya .

Interesting read this thread! What are the thoughts now? Obviously 2020 was somewhat of a write off for most boxers...Not sure I see some of the hype on this thread in Kelly to be honest.
