During a stair conditioning session he lost his footing and tore his bicep grabbing the bannister.

In the words of Lord Flashheart....what a puff !!!

You can set your watch by a David Haye injury: he gets injured whilst farting!

I swear that man is made of out balsa wood.

He should retire, but he has no other way of earning proper money.

He claimed he would quit when he was 30 & go & become an actor, but obviously, Harvey Weinstein never gave him a call, so his 'Hollywood' career never came to fruition, so he had to come back to boxing.

Although he's had a better career than most fighters, his HW career has been a cynical & staged managed joke.

He's never beaten a single world class HW & yet, he will be able to tell his grandchildren that he was once the HW champion of the world.

He's now backed into a corner & having to waste his time fighting fat CW's to prove himself & by the time he gets to mix it with the likes of Joshua & Wilder, he'll be into his 39th year.

I believe he should retire whilst he still has his health, looks & faculties intact, but I get the feeling that the door is not yet closed on the Hayemaker.

I can not believe the media has swallowed the injury of the bicep as he was walking down the stairs?

Total crap, the rumour was he had hurt his achilles again.

And if he injured his bicep grabbing a bannister what would he do to it in a fight after a few minutes.

So Fury offered to step in and fight Bellew on May 3rd. MAY THE FUCKING THIRD? Yes, I know he needs time to get in shape blah, blah. but what's the point in calling out someone and saying :
"Yeah , I'll fight you, ya bum , but please wait for 6 months for me to lose weight, and MAYBE I'll be ready depending on me getting my licence back , not going off the rails and not getting injured. so maybe it'll be longer than that. is that OK mate?"
Oh yeah, Bellew's gonna say "sure mate, no problem, I'll wait forever and take a cut in money as well. Fuck it, why not, anything to help you out Champ."
Dillian Whyte isn't exactly on my Christmas card list, but at least he had the decency to say he'd do it on the current date, fuck it.
But at least now we know when Fury will be coming back - May 3rd.

Whyte was willing to step in on short notice. That's the fight they should make. Who knows when Haye will be back and if he'll stay injury free.

Bellew will not dare fight anyone else at any weight, he is stuck in limbo.

Haye was injured during training on 16 November.

"After a freak accident during a stair conditioning session, which I've done with no incident hundreds of times, I lost my footing and slipped," he said.

"I instinctively grabbed the banister to stop myself toppling down the stairwell. In doing so I somehow managed to damage my biceps.

"I underwent a procedure to repair it; this was pretty straightforward and my doctor and physiotherapist have no doubt that not only will I make a full recovery but will be able to be back in the gym to start my arm rehabilitation in two weeks.

"I would like to apologise to Tony, his family and his training team, as well as all our fans who have been left disappointed."

    I believe that too.

It seems too early for his Achilles to be able to stand up to the rigours of boxing training.

So the rematch is set for 5th May.

    What % chance this doesn't happen - I'd say 60%

Wouldn't be booking any rail tickets or London hotels that's for sure....
