    Default Boxers vs Fighters..

How many times have you heard a great boxer always beats a great fighter?

We saw Ohara embarrassed the other day in quality boxing from Josh Taylor, and we all remember the JC boxing clinic against Lacy.

What other fights did you enjoy where the art of boxing nullified and outclassed a pure fighter..and vice versa.

They say that in the great big heavyweights fights the fighter mainly beats the boxer from Louis v Schmeling, Rocky v Walcott, Liston v Patterson, Frazier v Ali 1, Tyson v Spinks, Joshua v Wlad.

The exceptions are Tunney v Dempsey and Ali v Liston,Foreman/Fraizer

You got Frazier as the Boxer in one example and the Fighter in another??

No. Frazier beat Ali was the first example of a fighter beating a boxer.

I do not count Lennox v Tyson as it was not best v best just as I do not count Tyson v Holmes.

Always liked Byrd-Tua. Certainly not great but Ishida punching holes through Kirkland was good.

Right , so you've got Frazier (Fighter) beating Ali (Boxer) . then you quote as an exception Foreman v Frazier . This means that you are quoting Foreman as a Boxer rather than a fighter , is that correct?
Because George Foreman doesn't exactly stand out to me as some kind of Technical Boxer.
if so, does that mean the Ali/Foreman was a case of Boxer v Boxer?

Ali is an exception and what I was meaning was that Ali beat these fighters Liston, Foreman and Fraizer
